to be still means to let go of all control and let God do his thing; He will make a way

Amen we must read the verses before and after! May we all do so this year. Hopefully we are not afraid to look up words we do not understand as well. When we do these things, it helps us to have a richer relationship with the Lord.

Be still is originally trabslated as "Let go" there is enough potency in the prescribed action alone
Don't know if it's said enough, but appreciate the finer details in research you do. Some of these words as so easy to gloss over, puts a new perspective when you understand the alamoths and selahs.

I came to this video because some friends were arguing with me saying when God said "be still" he is referring to meditation and keeping the mind still and.empty almost believed them there for a second, all this new age teachings disguised as self help gurus are really funny now i know the truth that Jesus is lord and meditation is demonic and should not be practiced in the name of self improvement. Thank you ❤

According to Strong's Concordance, "Be Still" is translated from the Hebrew 'rapa' which can mean "let go" but also "relax". Imagine that translation! "Relax and know that I Am God"
