      Hi El's Planet. I just watch some of your videos recently and I was amazed of the reaction, I mean it's so real and on point. Anyway, I have a little request, I just want to know your thoughts about Z-STARS (Z-BOYS&Z-GIRLS) They are a boy and girl group came from different country here in Asia but they are under korean company. They are not k-pop but Z-pop because they make music in english but many say that they are k-pop because of how they look. They debuted last Feb. 28, 2019 and have two singles (No limit, Holla-Holla-Z-Boys and What you waiting for, Streets of Gold-Z-Girls) Even though they are from different countries their fandom is not that big. I just want to know your opinions or reaction about them. It's a pleasure if you will notice this. Thnk you.

      I have a suggestion po sir, there are few filipino bands that make songs in english, please make a video that features only bands like Urbandub, Franco, December Avenue, these bands writes songs in english and I think their songs should be known internationally because its so good, I have a russian friend who loves december avenue when I introduced her to it. I wanna know how they react to OPM songs when they know the meaning of the songs.

    Ang Huling El Bimbo just hits hard. I sang it when I was a kid because it was a famous song but singing it now, understanding what it meant, is a very different experience. For some reasons, I focus on lyrics when I sing songs now and I choke up whenever I sing this song. Extra feel when you sing it with friends with guitar accompaniment! Especially the part that goes "Lahat ng pangarap ko'y bigla lang natunaw. Sa panaginip na lang pala kita maisasayaw". ;A;

    The song is really cool! One of the iconic songs! Its been decades but that songs still captures everybody's heart. Even youths still enjoy this song and we keep on singing on this everytime we had a free time. If you analyze the story behind it, it will really give you goosebumps. The song's lively beat is contrasting the song's story because it is so tragic.

  • @parengthonycastillo4272

    Parokya ni Edgar's Harana MV does not talk all about serenading someone or having romance, but how a group of ordinary young people of the 90s would do inside of a boarding house or a dorm. And from the POV of the guy who is playing the guitar, you could see he opened a songbook singing the song, which is obviously Harana, as if like a normal Filipinos would do when they got bored and want to have some fun. And also, the MV is a tribute to the original artist of the song who is Tony Lambino, which is why you could see why the two guys were singing and reading his song that was included in the songbook.

    EL's Planet, dont worry about it. most Filipinos get really defensive about our stuff. even if you mean well, some people think you're being disrespectful when you're not.
    again, its ok... plenty of Filipinos (not all) do not fully comprehend what they read soon as their emotions get involved. i experience that almost everyday in some controversial discussions.

    To add context to Harana music video: in early 90s, Filipino cliques (barkadas) would just sing songs at each other's houses with a songbook and a guitar. Usually it's a love song that's kinda why it's harana.
