- Cremations and Burials are exposing the gaps in the system when it comes to India's Battle against Coronavirus. On the other hand are situations where families are not claiming the dead as their own for fear of stigma. On the other hand, are instance of carelessness where bodies of COVID and suspected COVID deaths are being handled without proper protection and with overcrowding by families. Barkha Dutt reports from this Crematorium in Mumbai's Ghatkopar area.

😔 grim... Barkha, please make a special video on protocols and procedures in case of death by covid. Not everyone goes on WHO website. Can covid spread by air near dead bodies? Also, what kind of medical treatment is given to covid patients... e.g. in case of cancer there are treatments like chemo and other such... What kind of treatment is given to the patients? Only more education about covid will help people to think sanely and take proper actions.
No there are very less chances of spread of covid19 by dead body, as person is not breathing, coughing, sneezing, it's unlikely any one would get infected by a dead body

All the news are knowledgeable and at this time there should be alert app on internet phone and central fix fine up to one yr 1000 or up to six Months prison only six person should go to the grave compulsory mask social distancing not more than 25 persons for marriages or spritually offerings prayer and humidity drinks and other info and the help should be given by prime minister help fund. And a strict fine for eating any virus animals.This can bring uncivilized and uncleaness manner in a civilized standard.
