Maybe one of the more surprising things to come out of the Nintendo Direct today was a new Capcom collection of arcade classics, this time focusing entirely on the Marvel crossover games. Marvel Vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics was announced for 2024, and it will bring some of the best fighting games of the Vs. Capcom series back in a delightful bundle that can be played online. It’s coming to consoles and PC sometime in 2024.

Yes, and companies will always make moronic creative choices that add absolutely nothing to the product while presenting an illusion of value while unnecessarily neutering great elements of games to make sure they’re not *too* good.
You know you can change the aspect ratio to full screen which includes removing the art borders, right?

All their collections I’ve purchased do this dumb bullshit
Final Fight, their weird arcade/plugin setup, etc
Just rerelease the full, actual games without the shitty fluff.
