@@satorii_2060 that's definitely not true. Drifting entirely depends on how much use it's seeing, as it is usually wear that causes it. Mine didn't start drifting until it was 2+ years old, when it started being used every day.

Mario and Zelda (wether you like it or not) are Nintendo’s BIG ips and always sell like hotcakes
You could argue that botw and odyssey aren’t either but botw was GOTY and, as far as “masterpieces” go, is arguably a “masterpiece”..... odyssey was fantastic in its own right and is easily one of the best (if not the best) 3D Mario game ever made
(I use masterpiece loosely because EVERY game has flaws and there really is no true masterpiece game out there)
The reason why ACNH, isn’t in that “masterpiece” category is because (this is my opinion and a LOT of die hard AC fans are going to murder me) it really didn’t change all that much AC has been the same game since GameCube and hasn’t made leaps in improvement like Zelda or Mario 😂🔫..... i mean if it ain’t broke don’t fix it but I feel like there is room for improvement

@Bluey The OG Switch is meant as a Hybrid console a mix between home console and handheld, the Switch Lite is exclusively a handheld, I get it's for people that don't have a tv, but the Switch exists for that purpose as well.

I got mine exactly a year ago, have played some couple hundred hours and everything still works perfect. No heat damage, no console bending, no drift - nothing.

You can send them in for a replacement or repair although-fair warning- I think there's a big delay because they have so many orders to process right now. I never bothered to send mine in, but they do provide that as an option... Although you might want to buy another Joy Con in the mean time... It might take a while

@Luigi No it won't. All games need to be fully supported by the Switch Lite, and the normal Switch.
The pro would do absolutely nothing other than add resolution or framerate.
I'm not against a pro version. I'm just saying it wouldn't add additional lifetime to it.

Ever since I got my Switch in late 2017 I never knew how it worked so once this came out it helped a lot
Instead of ganging up on Nintendo, I'd rather take a minute to appreciate the fact that they made this video to welcome anybody who's new to the Switch family despite the console being 3 years old.
Nintendo has my respects for this.

Awesome video and I already have a Nintendo Switch now with a lot of great games for it as well! This year for Christmas, my Switch that I have will already be six years old since I first got it for Christmas back in 2017 which was also the same year when the Switch was first released, and it still works really great so far too! I also still remember when I first got my Nintendo Switch for Christmas back in 2017, I even got six games for the system too which were Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Super Mario Odyssey, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, 1-2-Switch, and Splatoon 2 since those were the games that I first got for my Switch at the time along with the system itself.
As a person who has bought one a couple of weeks ago this helps me to choose some games for it and how to use it in unique ways (because I have the Nintendo switch not the lite)
Guys they’re only advertising we get it it’s been out for three/four years!!! Let them make their money

Well, looking at nintendo's release dates, there's a quite clear trend of a 4-6 year gap between consoles. So you may want to wait, but we don't know if the next console will be entirely different (most people think it won't be) or just be a switch pro.
