This is why I admire Cassie so much, despite of people around her putting her down, she remains strong and kind to everyone.

I would have been out the door as soon as I woke up. You never know when the parents are going to show up.
If I was in this situation I feel like I would definitely be just like Cassie. I wake up pretty early so I’d get up look around, clean myself up and mess with people. Then leave on my terms before everyone has to run out the door lmao
At the time cassie was weird for wearing vintage clothes, a few years the vintage trend really took off

The costume team worked really hard to try and find clothes for the characters which really suited them but were hard to find. They didn't just buy it all in H&M like they could have done. They even had a blog talking about the fashion of one or two characters each episode and a Q&A section. Back in 2007 they wanted really bold colourful clothes. By 2009 though colour was everywhere so again to make their characters stand out they dialled it back a bit and made them more muted. Notice too that the girls hardly ever wear jeans from season 1-4. Jeans are just too normal, typical everyday wear, still are, therefore boring for TV. Except for Freddie who's a skater until episode S3E5 which makes sense for him to wear jeans. Also the late 2000s craze was skinny jeans but Skins refused to go down that direction.

I've seen a theory that there was never a food fight, that it was in her head. As we see Sid later saying he hasn't showered but he's not covered in food. As well as he seems a little confused when she mentions throwing the food all around, supposedly she makes a comment to Jal about it too and Jal seems confused as well. Though, they are covered in food when they run away which could disprove this theory, as cassie is no longer there so why would they still be covered in food? I still like the theory though. Anyone else have any thoughts? Pls share.

She was always a plus one in the group. You can check the timeline of hers and see she was not included for everything and the group was actually fine on their own without her. It makes me sad she was never included fully. She was always strong.

I went to a party like this when I was 16 too. I was on acid, cocaine and a lot of alcohol, that was pretty fun tbh. But the morning after I felt so awful

So many people want to live like the characters do in Skins when they don't see that the characters are living with the freedom and stability of adulthood, but with the naivety and forgiving foolishness of adolescents. It's just something that can't happen in real life.
They don’t have the ‘stability’ of adulthood. Looking at the characters and you see that the vast majority of them have disinterested or incompetent parents. Anwar probably has the best home life, because his parents are surprisingly wise and accepting.

Same problem. It sounds like something from Fat Segal, that's as far as I've got. I don't know which version was the original. I know other music was changed for the DVD releases. Nearly everyone I know prefers the original broadcast version.
