Initially I missed this review today. I thought you didn’t post a video. Better late than never. Really appreciate the review. From far away the board looks vibrant and perfect. Up close you can definitely see the minor imperfections. Honestly none of the imperfections bother me all that much. It is strange that the spider was inserted a bit crooked from side to side. The number ring is indeed excellent. I don’t think the large logos would bother me all that much as I have had nothing but blades and always rotate them. Small sisal imperfections also don’t bother me at all. It really did sound super quiet especially compared to the Blade 6 TC. Actually for PDC matches I think they like a loud board adds to the excitement. Great review as always. Keep them coming. We all appreciate it.
I have the first gen of the focus and after two months it looks worse then my gladiator of almost a year old. I remember that I had to rotate it already after two hours of playing and I use a normal black point. It’s way to soft. But I will look forward what your conclusion is of it. Keep up the good job.
Great video I am going to get the target aspar board personally I think it’s the top tier boards and some video ideas for you and some series I’d like to see back ; Pro darts and their alternatives, Match day Monday, Darts advice and tips, live streams just chatting to us, A monthly dart tier so all the darts you record in that month rank them from worst to best.
Another great video. Love dartshopper they always fast shipping. Started putting orders in sunday nights and i usually get my order by tuesday, Wednesday the latest. Cant wait to see full in depth review at end of april on this board. Love the number ring around the board. Seem like it would be easy to see and easy on eyes. From far away it looks good but close up def see chunks taken out of certain segments. But the bulls eye segment is def raised bit too high for my liking and would drive me insane lol. Love that it is quiet and not noisy lol. Def be on look out for video on this later this month. 👊
The logos issue would bug me. It should be obvious to all dartboard manufacturers to put smaller logos all around the board in a uniform manner to create a more pleasing on the eye appearance no matter which way around the board is. The quiet sound of the darts going into the board is a positive though. Great stuff WWD 👍🏻
Thanks. Those were given to me from an older friend of mine that used to play pro darts here in the USA back in the 1980's and 1990's. He gave me all his stuff when he closed up shop
Brilliant video as always! Was thinking of biting the bullet on this one or Advantage 5.01 but glad I went for Triple Core, can't wait for it to arrive. Also, you could fit another 3 darts in that bullseye! Great throwing :)
Thanks! Triple Core is a good choice. Man, those things are beautiful. Do me a favor though, let me know how firm you think it is when you get it. Mine was a bit soft but I think it was because it was the first batch of boards or something?
@@WorldwideDarts Hey WW, so my Blade 6 arrived on Friday, but I wanted to give it the weekend to load it up with arrows and put it to the test. The wires are so flush, and that bullseye wire is one of, if not the nicest I've ever seen! Especially coming from a Unicorn Eclipse Pro HD2, the wire on that bullseye is enormous. You are absolutely correct; the board was much softer than I had anticipated, but it has held up well so far; I'm just curious as to how long it will last. Mine has the PDC paint too so its definitely new batch of boards. The dartboard's presentation disappointed me; there was almost a chalky texture surrounding the dartboard, and part of the inking was shobby; likewise, the number ring around the dartboard isn't even and I have to keep it in place with a dart point. I'd like to see a little more quality control, but that's nit-picking because even with them flaws this is without a doubt the most beautiful board I've ever bought!
Would it be possible to just take a mallet and tap the segments in further? I think the logo would drive me crazy after the first rotation, but I bet it would be simple to just mask off the segments and spray paint the outer area with a flat black, or maybe some gaffer tape over the logo and call it a day. Anyway, thanks for the intro, I’m looking forward to hearing how it held up!
I suppose it's possible to tap it in a bit further. I've seen a few techniques where people have tapped in a loose spider. One is where they use a block of wood and place it on the area they want to tap back in. Seems to work well enough. Although, you really shouldn't have to do that on a new board.
Has anyone ever compared diameters of the treble or even double ring between different boards? Cause the further out the treble ring is for example the wider the segments get. Random thought.. Looking forward to the review!
If I was playing a bit more, which I'm not, I'd rotate about every 4-5 days maybe? Then as time goes on and the board is well broken in I'd rotate maybe every week or so. Again, totally depends on how much I'm playing and generally I really don't play all that much anymore.
WWD I have an unrelated question for you. Are cuesol darts any good? My brother just bought some and asked if they were any good. I'm not familiar with the brand at all.
Yeah, it's a decent brand for sure. Imo a bit overpriced but still nice enough. A bunch of darting CZcamsr's have done reviews on the stuff. Cuesoul sent a few of us packages a couple years ago
noise: Blade 5/6 has those plastic feet directly contacting the wall and thus transmitting any sound to a giant sounding board (the wall), while with this Bulls board you're using folded cardboard between the board and the wall, and (I assume) the cardboard is dampening the board and not transmitting much if any sound through to the wall. Just a guess. the close ups look awful, but I'll bet if I look at my Blade 5 it likely looks the same now - but I've also beat on it an hour/day for 3~ years.
Well like I said, I don't think that board worth the money or your time. To many flaws. And the only good that comes from the board is the number ring. My choice if you can afford it is, Blade 6 triple core or a target ASPAR. Either or is a great board. MY opinion.
Are you having any glue issues? I just played on it for 10 minutes and there was glue all over my points!! Yeah, this is looking like a huge waste of $57 so far
@@WorldwideDarts No glue issues, but definitely a few very visible ink spots across the board; spider is very inconsistent; bullseye is deformed. And for $57? Although I've never played on one, many rave about the Gladiator 3 board as being an exceptional board, which is cheaper than this one! And for an extra few bucks one can grab the Bull's Netherlands 501 Advantage board which is an amazing aboard. It honestly felt like someone somewhere in Germany was saying "ha ha gotchya"!!
i like the sound of this board, but that's about it. That spider is too raised for me out of the box, that would be enough to turn me off. My blade 5 dual core after one year use is better looking and flusher than this board

So accurate on the bull with that giant hoodie on 😂
Yeah, that was a bit of a bonus. 3 accurate darts with a bulky sweatshirt on lol. I'm so mad at the weather today! 19℉, snowy and windy! Sucks!

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll definitely be doing some more throwing videos this spring/summer.

You play very well! I noticed the signs/trophies in the back, do you still play professionally?

Looks ok cant beat the blade 5 or 6 though

Looking forward to the review!
I've seen Unicorn boards with more spider and sisal issues
Me too. This one was a bit rough to be honest.
@@WorldwideDarts out of interest, when you're breaking in a new board, how often do you rotate?

Allways love bulls boards.. Play on bulls shark pro, board is good
Glad it wasnt delivered to me as would be really pissed to pay the post sending it back but that uneven spider would have stopped me even hanging it
Yeah, that was disappointing for sure. It definitely went in crooked

I agree, the close up wasn't great. That's what I was thinking while looking through the camera 😂
I put felt backed floor protecters on my plastic inserts ,that made it less noisey 👍
Has anyone else taken a Sharpie and coloured in the logos on their board because they found them distracting when the board was rotated?
Yeah, I've done it in the past. I've also known a few others to do it. Works pretty good
Do u rotate 1 or 2 segments at a time?
I usually go 1 spot to the left every time I rotate. Which is quite often, especially with a new board. I want all segments to break in evenly
I have always rotated 3 black segments at a time. After 10 rotations you will be back to original position. Has always worked very well for me.

Yeah, I played on it today and now I'm getting glue caked ony points. I won't last another week using this board
