Going from the biggest scowl on your face and cursing under your breath while in a horrible, tight, hot attic...to all of a sudden you're smiling at the customer after walking down the ladder is pretty funny.
Excellent suggestions. One should also minimize yelling from one coworker to another. Sometimes, you might be working inside and you are working with somebody else who is working outside, and you need to communicate. Use radios, if available, or use your cell phones, but do not yell at each other. It doesn't look good in front of your customers, and the neighbors also watch you.
I agree that the customer should not know if you’re sad, frustrated etc. I don’t mind shorts as long as they’re work shorts. I wear pants with suspenders.

Very good tips to live by. I’m T shirt and shorts guy when I can get by with it. Mainly because I sweat like crazy for some reason, but I see your point here. Old dog here will try your new trick suggestion 😅

60% of the time it works every time🤣😂 I use to work with company that openly talk bad about other.. reason it makes them feel like they better but I reality they were just as bad.. self reflection and humility it's necessary to succeed in this trade.

Professionalism goes a long way. People take you more serious when you don't look like you just rolled out of bed. I wear work pants, I get to hot in jeans. Good stuff.
My company allows shorts but I don't wear them. Not as much protection and I always thought the boots and shorts together looks ridiculous.

I unfortunately had my colon removed last winter and I need to use the toilet like 20 times a day. It’s unprofessional but I don’t have a choice unfortunately.
