Every time I listen to "Come on in my Kitchen" by Robert Johnson, it feels like the first time. It always brings fresh inspiration and is just one of those tunes that defines the blues. The melody and chords are very similar to "Sittin' on Top of the World," and when you play it instrumentally, it can almost be hard to tell which it is. It's also really similar to Mississippi Fred McDowell's "You Gotta Move"

A Robert Johnson tune, or any pure blues tune, should never be shredded. There’s a time and a place for that, and it ain’t here or now.

I bought 'King of the delta blues singers' vol 1 back in 83 when I was 13...it was a reprint...I had read Clapton and keef Richards talking it up...hands down most important musical document I ever unpacked, my young mind blown...you give me the chills young man✌♥️

Thanks to “Come on in My Kitchen” I can “taste” it too…and it’s like my grandma’s apple pie right out of the oven! She could almost bake as tasteful as Justin can play. Great tune…made my day!

That was so nice that adequate words of praise fail me. My vocabulary is sadly insufficient and fails to rise to the task of expressing the true worth of this music. I am just going to listen to it over and over again.
Every time i watch these video's i want to go out and buy another guitar, spent 2 1/2 years trying to learn how to play and found out it's just not my instrument so i took up blues harmonica, i now have 10 years under my belt and love it, thanks Justin, that was awesome 👍🇺🇸.
