  • Installation from start to finish of a Mr. Bulletfeeder 9mm on my Dillon Precision XL650. I fabricated a mounting solution using galvanized pipe. This allowed me to place the Mr. Bulletfeeder closer and more directly over the XL650. I was not a fan of hanging it off of the Case Feeder which is why I went down to my Home Depot to find a couple of items to fabricated the mounting bracket. This install was a lot of fun and I hope you all enjoy the video too.

Awesome idea! I have been thinking about a stand alone mounting system for my Mr. Bullet Feeder. Thanks for sharing!

The hex screw fell out after you unscrewed it. Idk if you caught that. On the bullet dropper it fell out as you finishing up. It just allows it to spin idk if it would change function. Probably not. Great video always wondered how they worked before I spent the money. Looks like it's worth it.

Great eyes and attention to detail, I had not caught that in the video but I did replace it and I think you can see it screwed down on the brass cylinder later in the video. Thank You for the comment and yes the Mr. Bulletfeeder is definitely a great addition to any reloading setup!

I have a question, Have you reloaded .308 with the Mr Bullet Feeder ? I have one and the problem I am facing is the bullets are barely sitting on top of the case. This means as soon as I go through the motion of cycling the reloader the bullet almost wants to fall out of the case. When I got my Mr Bullet feeder I thought I was missing the rifle powder funnel but I was not. I had opened up a case with them and they sent me this email response, " here is no powder funnel supplied with the rifle calibers. Only with the pistol caliber kits. This is clearly presented on our site and product description.
The reason for that is that it is impossible to expand the neck of the case with the powder funnel for rifle calibers while still leaving a hole large enough for the powder to flow. So what most do is use a modified M die to expand the neck of the case in the swage station of the 1050, or as part of their case prep cycle. "
Was looking to see what were your thoughts on this.

Did you uncrewed the casefeeder to secured the primer tube rack? Thank you for the great video

Hello I am trying to understand your question. The casefeeder does not connect to the Primer Tube.

@@SpartanArmament Did you use the screws provided to attached the Inline Fabrication Primer Tube Rack to the case feeder? I'm wondering if you used the provided nut inside the feeder to hold the screws in place.
      Thanks

It would have been nice to see mounting instructions as it comes from the factory not modifications.

Understood and I appreciate the feedback although DAA the manufacturer did post that already some time back.

Thank You! I had it custom built last summer by a local handyman. We used 8 4”x6” pressure treated timbers as the legs and reinforced to the wall studs. It’s as solid as can be. It measures 24” deep and 12’ long!

i can hear how Mr. bullet feeder powder funnel stucks inside the case. Polish it, otherwise you will have spilled powder everywhere. Not to say it slows down reloading and you will start to hate it. For such price, I really expected powder funnel to be nice and smooth and not to stick like hell.
Anyway, I have 3d printed bullet feeder, much less money then for overpriced Mr. bullet feeder. For it's price you can buy 3d printer, make 4 bullet feeders and still have lot of money saved. Not to mention you can make many other things on it you'll use for reloading. I've designed and printed ie. my big pistol case feeder plate, another 40 bucks saved.

Jozo99 Yes Sir you are correct. That is because I didn’t lube the brass prior to filming the video. That issue is minimized once I used lubed brass. I am curious though on the polishing. How would I go about doing that! Do you have some tips/tricks?

@@SpartanArmament chuck the powder funnel into a drill (wrap it in something to protect it first) and spin it in some triple 0 steel wool with some brass polish. polishes it great. I have 3 mr bullet feeders and they make reloading much less of a chore

Jozo99 - it’s a good alternative but not everyone has either the time nor the interest to learn how to print their own 3D parts.

    • @ZhuJo99
      @ZhuJo99 Před 3 lety

@@Russell-1 sure, that's why 3D print shops exists. What you will only need then is to assemble it - and that is fun part and it's relatively quick. For me, definitely worth money saved. But well, if you earn like 300 USDs per evening, congrats!

Using the Powder Drop funnel supplied by Double Alpha at the Powder Drop station. I have since moved on to the Alpha Dropper which is made by Shooting Sports Innovations.
