Mannnnn., Yall didn’t even catch the bars! Lordd!! That’s crazy. They have the subtitles down there for a reason. They also pay homage to the creators of the beat and the person that the song belongs to as well. There’s a comment already on this page stating that already thankfully, they beat me to the punch.
You youngins disappointed me here lol. This beat was created by Neptunes (Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo). Old school beat and was used by N.O.R.E. and the song was called Nothin’. You guys also missed all the old school references in the bars. Guys, what’s going on? lol.
The TAPES are cyphers using old beats/samples. And they add on their own lyrics and styles. That’s the whole point of a cypher

Imma say this they did snap on this one though, can’t let them bars go over your head now. There are some crazy references and even double to triple entendres that they be spittin. Not to mention how they flowed effortlessly on the track. And they payed homage all in such a small amount that they gave? It’s a 10!

What I love so much about this one in particular is damn near every line is a reference or just pure firreee! Here's the ones I caught, theres probably some I missed
Intro is obvious a reference to the OG Nothin' even mentioning the album its on
"nothin' under sixteen" Cocona was 16 when they debuted, and ofc a reference to rap bars
"This that O2 flow" Jurin was born in '02, bootlegged mixtapes hit a peak, and O2 as in oxygen flow, Nothin was released in '02
The korean bit after thick skin "I don't need to start drama, I just count the commas"
"Who would have thought that the kid would go viral" A reference to the fact Cocona's verse in the Xypher went VIRRAAALLL on tiktok
"C to the O-C-O, now" But now pronounced naw so its just her name introducing her before her verse
"Wildin' out without carryin a canon" this can go a few ways, Nick Cannon/Wilding out, Mariah Carrey/Nick Cannon, this one a stretch but even Canon cameras and GGW. Paired with the next line of hands up you get Cannon like a ship cannon or a handcannon gun.
