Thought it would be fun to show you my process for creating this mirror landscape shot; mixing it up a little so its not EXACTLY the same as my behance version, but still visually beautiful to look at.
Speaking of, if of interest, here's the original behance render: www.behance.ne...
Hopefully it's easy enough to follow, but please let me know if you have recommendations for things I can fix or improve for future videos. You can also definitely look through my work and leave some other suggestions on pieces to walk-through. Thanks for watching!
You'll need Cinema 4D and Redshift for this tutorial obviously!

Thank you, Jess! Your video really helped me understand the principle of working with "polygon selection tag" in a matrix. You have great tutorials, very inspiring.
Of course!! So glad this was helpful and that you're enjoying the tutorials!
great tutorial, u literally downloaded the whole scene basically! 😍
What do you mean I downloaded the whole scene? But thanks!
Thanks for you tutorial! That was interesting, and i've made a great landscape)
aw so glad you enjoyed it!!
Thank you for all your tutorials, you've got a new subscriber ! I'll definitely do this one and the jewelry one. Looking forward to the next ones !
of course!! I have a new one I hope to get out tomorrow! ;) going to be super fun. Thank you so much for the kind comment, and Im so glad you're enjoying the tutorials!
Great tutorial. Love your work :) Sometimes I just use a shader field with 100% contrast instead of making a polygonal selection tag and it works well also
ooh good idea!! And thank you so much for the kind words! I'll have to try your contrast approach soon!
Increible! Gracias, gracias gracias!!!!
absolutely!!
Awesome! Can you explain how you made the wind?
I'd love to know that too! Really lovely work.
@@jolyonmeldrum1 Thank you both, I can['t take credit for that though! I actually used the newer Runway AI for that, just because I knew I just wanted to throw some motion in for a more interesting intro; but you may noticed the quality between the still and the animated also changed a lot! Runway is fun to add unique motion to photography, but sometimes there's a big loss in quality.
If I remember correctly, I threw my photo into Runway, and also added some keywords like 'wind blowing through field, clouds moving', before having it just auto generate some movement. I can do a tutorial if people are curious how to use it!
Thanks for sharing! Subbed 👍
Absolutely! Thanks for subscribing!
Great! But how you make animation?
@@HumanFatalError another person asked about this in the comments- for this one I used AI, I think runway or pika labs. But alternatively, you could use a random field with a small rotation value and apply that to the scattered plants to animate over time.
I didn’t know you had a CZcams channel too 🙏🙏🙏😭
Haha i actually have two! This one (itsjess edits) is my main! I post nerdy video edits lol. I repurposed a really old CZcams for my 3D content, so I’m hoping VirtuallyVisual can grow too! :)
