Trailversary Hike Weekend on the A.T.

- April 17th marks the day I started the Appalachian Trail.
I had the pleasure of partnering up with @Keen to test out their All New Ridgeflex Technology Waterproof Boots. They sent me and my sister a pair to test out. So my sister Kebba, my cousin Tony, and myself drove up to Crowders Mt. State Park in Kings Mountain, NC for a short 4 mile out and back to The Pinnacle.
A couple days later I drove up to the Beauty Spot outside of Erwin, TN on the Appalachian Trail and camped out in my rooftop tent. The next day I took a ride to Carvers Gap in the Roan Highlands and hiked a short out and back on the AT.
From there I drove to Asheville and stayed a couple night and caught up with friends. Saturday April 17th I woke up and drove to Newfound Gap in the Smokies for a 8 mile out and back hike to Charlie’s Bunion on the Appalachian Trail.
I wanted to get out and test the boots in different conditions and I must say they performed extremely well. They’re very comfortable, true to size, and built for tough trail.. And the Ridgeflex Technology is a really cool feature! - Zábava

If you are in the area, you gotta try to get up to Linville Gorge. It's a backpackers paradise. Less than 2hours away. It's phucking ridiculous out there. That's my spot, I am up there all the time, or hittin sections of the AT. Thru hiking it in 22. I been backpacking for 20+years, and always had excuses to not thru hike. Now, life can wait, I won't put it off any longer

These look great! Love the colors. I need to try them out. I have another Keen style and they kill my feet even on a 1 mile loop.
Yeah I’m not normally a boot wearer but these have given me no hotspots or issues yet. I only have about 20-30 miles on em though. Pretty solid.
