Omg! I've been randomly trying for years and years to do this. I'll normally get the odd bit to curl perfectly but haven't a clue how I done it. This video has actually helped so so much. It doesn't look perfect and they are quite lose but I have curled hair with ghd straighteners and I done it myself ❤️❤️ Thank you xx
Omg ! I never knew one could make curls with a hair straightener ! I have never really straightened or curled my hair ever before.I bought my first ever hair straightener ( GHD )last year at age 48 and was wondering if I should have bought a curler instead. But out of all the videos I saw, you have explained it in a way that makes so much sense that the first time I tried it I had a head full of curls. Thank you from the bottom of my heart !!!!
SUPERB Video!! The second side of the hair would have been better with the curl wound the opposite direction though (curling AWAY from the face).
l thought the same thing that it wasn't curled away from the face and l am hopeless at curling. Glad l wasn't wrong in thinking that.
i’ve been trying flat iron curls for like the past HOUR and this is the only one that works! my straightener has a flat barrel which makes it harder, but this actually worked! also, your personality is so cute and fun 💕

great video. I noticed that on the left-hand side you curl towards your face. Is there any reason you don't change the direction so both sides go backwards/ away from your face? just curious thats all. but a great video for beginners.
Honestly, I find it harder to curl/twist my hand on that side bahahha hence for “beginners” ;) Still works out well for me & I love it. Thanks for watching
I agree Maggie. It would look so much better if the left side was curled away from the face. Just use the straightener with the wire facing downwards to do this.
Great video and technique on the side you curled away from your face it worked for me my barrel curler has just gone caput this morning AAGH! so had to try using same GHD straighteners you used which I normally only use for my fringe and this has worked thanks it was quick easy and you explained it well! BUT I didnt invert my straighteners on the other side - I just used them with the wire below them, try that it works if anyone wants both sides curled away, it all blends rather than half head away and half turned inwards

Really confused. I thought you said to curl AWAY as if the wind was blowing your hair? But you did the opposite on the other side? So the curls go in different directions on either side?
I burnt the crap out of my fingers trying to flick backwards on the other side...but you didn't do that?

I’ve always had trouble curling my own hair but I love the look of curly hair on myself but I will definitely have to try this way, you male it look so easy. I was wondering what brand of heat protector and sea salt spray you use or if there is any you recommend?

Why do you do half your hair with facing away curls and the other side of your head towards your face? Surely you should do it the dame both sides?

Just a hint . Instead of curling one side forward and the other side back . Try alternating the directions of the curls . It will create a fuller look and a more even look.

Why are you pulling the straightner away from your face on one side of your head, then pulling towards your face on the other? You've clearly created two types of curls lol..
Guys twist away from your face not towards it like this video, trust me

:) I find the next day my hair creates a nice soft wave and sometimes I’ll touch up areas that need it most. I have straight hair so it’s always going to need a bit of volume 😏

Aren’t you supposed to curl away from your face? You’ve curled the left side away, but towards your face on your right. I’m confused!
This helped me with technique, but I noticed that you did the curls facing in opposite directions and the back doesn’t flow. A little disappointing.
Ally what i noticed. I thought it was supose to be away from the face. But she went twords her face on her other side.
This is annoying idk how to do it I got so fresturaded my hair gets stuck when I try to pull😡🙄
