You don't get a big speed bump when booting the OS because it's actually not running from the hard drive.
The core components of the OS are stored in a flash chip on the motherboard

If you don’t plan on upgrading to an xbox one s or x series I would say its worth it. Its very easy and microsoft has the drivers, for xbox one. It doesnt take long. The added benefits is if your playing downloaded games I can say the load times are cut in 1/2 if your using the disc it still has to read data of the disc so its not going to make blue ray drive run any faster. Performance will be increased and the console will produce less heat, since there are less moving parts. Its a minimal upgrade. But its worth it, if you want games to boot up faster, save quicker, more stable framrate. Also his xbox must have something going on in the background on the og xbox ive never seen forza games take over a minute to load. Ive never had any game take more than 30 seconds to boot up on the unit I have. And thats on the regular hard drive. So it could be a crappy ssd, or did he even close forza? This is a biased review of doing this. If your xbox isnt online, you dont have anything but the game open its usually instant. So Idk wtf is up with this.

An SSD impacts both physical and digital games on Xbox One because they work the exact same way. The Xbox One, and the PS4 for that matter, don't directly play games off the Blu-ray Discs anymore. The disc just installs the game to the internal storage just like a digital game would, only the console requires the disc to be inserted as a key to prove that it's legitimate. Other than that check, the disc is completely unused.

This is a game change what is big in som game.
      Like cyberpunk 2077.
Speciale with the Xbox one s en de x model .
Sata 2 speed is max 300Mb VS sata3 600Mb speed on a SSD . (The old Xbox one use sata-2 and other use sata3)
Wel the orinal harddrive is about 100Mb max with a Burst of 300Mb (if IT fit in the memory of the HDD)
Than sweep time and page files are faster on a SSD than a harddrive.

You can clone the Hard Drive to SSD by using a USB Dual Hard Drive Docking Station, and then put the 2.5 Inch Hard Drive in Slot 1 and then put your SSD into Slot 2 and then clone it, and then press the Clone button, and then it will clone all of the data on HDD into SSD which means you don't need software, since you can clone all of the data, all of your save data and the Xbox One OS will be the same just like in the Hard Drive. I hope this helps!
