In this video, I take this BMW M140i 3-door for a drive in order to answer a very simple question...is the BMW M140i the best hot hatch you can buy for £20,000?
I take a look around the outside, the inside, go for a drive and talk performance in the hope I can answer that question! If you're anything like me then when considering buying a hot hatch, the 3 litre rear wheel drive BMW M140i has crossed your mind. It's brutish style and addictive soundtrack make it hard to ignore in the hot hatch space.

You've done well to get a good one for 20k. More like 25-28 from what I can see. I'd have one tomorrow for 20k
I paid exactly 20k for mine 2 and a half years ago (it's a 2017 5 door auto with adaptive).

Performance is in its own league, best bang for the bucks. I say handling could be better for the price but then I'm talking bout the rwd version, xdrive drives better without any mods, especially with adaptive suspension.
Put a deposit on one now can’t wait to get it! 👀
