    I wish every citizen,every child would hear this speech . I fear we no longer have the attention span to listen and absorb the wisdom of these healing words. This is inspirational.

    The taught us about Frederick Douglass but never utter one word about the great Henry H Garnet.

      Yep and they don’t teach us about Martin Delany. Douglas opposed Henry and Martin Delany

    so, it was the confederate sinners who maintained such an abhorrent evil , a villainy of such satanic dimensions , of such disgraceful proportions , of such deep degradation ever seen by those who bore it , carried it , shouldered it ,and those who protected it and lawfully perpetuated it. So Rev Henry Garnet said it , and such emotions were said, so as to raise the conscience to influence the injured , the enslaved , the punished and the denied to intellectually , spiritually and physically take up the right to fight and confront this diabolical form of human subjugation.
