    Can you imagine what this area looked like before they logged it with massive 200 foot plus tall old growth trees filling the gorge?

    My dad used this bridge for logging in the late 60s and early 70s for simpson timber. Plenty of 300' tall doug firs even back then.

    I think that this bridge was originally built for the railroad. Steam locomotives pulled loaded cars of logs over it. After most of the timber was taken out and Camp Grisdale closed, it was all converted to automobile and truck traffic.

    I live 25 minutes north of Shelton, Washington. Where is the bridge?

      It's part of Forest Road 2340. Access by going west on W. Skokomish Valley Road from US 101, that's north of Shelton. Here's the Google map link

      @@wilsonwmaddox :Great! Thanks! I will go there on Saturday. I try to bring other people with me into the forest because alone I get face to face with a wolf, a bob cat and once Sasquatch. I always check my sanity when I think about my Bigfoot encounter.

    Great drone footage - especially given the weather. What drone are you using?

      @@wilsonwmaddox hey I wanna go there this Sunday to fly my drone. Is it ok or did you need a permission?

      @wilsonwmaddox  Před rokem

      @@lauloretto No, It's US forestry and well away from airports. Have fun. Bad weather makes for good shots.

      @@lauloretto One other thing. Wind can be a factor. I flew this with my Phantom 4. My Mini 3 Pro probably wouldn't be able to do it. Check out my Kelly Butte video for what the P4 is really capable of.

    Your about a hundred feet short in your estimate...height is 375 feet

      Probably so, was using the drone to guess it and eyeballing how close I was to the bottom looking down at the drone from the bridge.
