The same thing happened to me on my first amateur boxing fight, I was insanely conditioned for it, putting many hours in and out of the gym. But once I stepped into the ring and boxed 1 round, I was exhausted!! It's a mental thing. Composure and calmness go a long way! Keep competing and you will be great at it. Found myself on my back a few seconds later and for the life of me could not get him down for the rest of the round. He won because of that one moment of mental weakness from me. Despite your loss you looked pretty damn good. You are growing as a competitor and as a person. Keep it up. Only good things will come of this. Great stuff!

Definitly not embarrassing! Competing in a Jiu jitsu match is an achievement on it's own. Big respect

It’s crazy how small the world is. I watch and love all of your videos; the guy that is coaching your opponent is a good friend of mine (Tony), who got his black belt from MY instructor. I just trained with him this past week. Insane
Keep your head up dude, you did well. You see now the difference in not only intensity, but intention, when people compete. And as much as training in the gym and getting comfortable there is a skill, so is competing. You have to do it more. Keep it up man
