I had to write exams and didn’t have time to focus on the interview till a night before. I stayed up all night watching Argo and it changed things for me!!! I was Refused an F1-Visa after the last question that I was asked about,"How I know about that particular University"?
My response was,"I conducted personal research using the internet to discover the best University for this Msc. Degree program thereafter I contacted that University and red all the Admission Requirements and I found Myself I can met all the requirements then I proceeded until I got My I-20. NB:- THAT WAS THE WHOLE TRUTH MR. BEN.
My question is,"What made the Visa Officer Refused to Approve Me after asking me that question?

I just got my visa approved today. Less than 3 minutes and the officer said “you’re visa has been approved and you’ll get an sms within 3 business days”.
10 years Multiple Entries. B1/B2.
Damn , should I even bother going ? My story went to the USA at 5 years old , at 29 left on “voluntary departure “ , deported basically for getting two DUIs in a span of 3 years , that was 2017 , been in Mexico for 6 years now happier than ever , I just would like to visit my family again . Am I going to Monterrey to waste my time and get denied immediately lol .oh side note went on tourist visa overstayed for a long time , had DACA at one point but it expired . Would love a realistic response , I’m a big boy I can take it .
My B1,B2 visa is still refused under 221g since March 20 2023, even it is not processes further for the administrative process yet, can I apply for student visa for USA. Can anyone help please

My husband got reject for f2 the first question was asked by vo was whats your wife doing in the us? As i didn't go yet so he said she is still in Bangladesh as she us depressed and not mentally ready to go ? Then vo asked who is sponser? I explained. Is it because i didnt got in the us this is the reason for refusal

Giving short answers on an exam is a failure when your lecturer ask you to give details answer correctly and that is how Visa interview are, don’t lie and be truthful.
Say actually no, but I’ve visited many tourist attraction in my country, then you can talk about A family who visited USA or Australia. Or uk or Asia.

Hi, I was denied of F-2 dependent visa last week, in 2016 I was denied of Tourist visa.

Hello Ben! My parents passed away from Covid. I have no siblings. I got into a top 5 university in the US. I have strong funding and I have my parents house and assets in India. I’m sponsoring myself with my parents savings and insurance money. If the interviewer asks me what my parents do, should I be honest and tell them the truth? I’m worried it may look like I don’t have strong ties to my home country. Please suggest what I should say.

I was refused my f1 visa under section 214b ...so now definitely i am reapplying ..so whats changes visa offer want to see on me as a student ? On the 2nd attempt i have reduced my cost of attendance and my university is slightly better for my major ...are this changes enough ???
Those are changes that you can present, but it depends on what lead you to get refused in the first place. You need to identify what went wrong in order to plan for an approval next time. Don't lose hope though, you definitely still have a chance to get approved in the future!

This is difficult but it depends on what your intended purpose of travel is. Also, while family in the U.S. certainly makes an impact at the visa interview, its not always bad.

Hi Ben, I applied for H1b 2022-2023 and it’s selected but end of the outcome , it’s denied due to my employer unable to submit all professional certificates , because I’m from bachelors in mechanical background , why becz I need 5 to 6 yrs experience that needs to be evaluated by authorised professor, that decided it’s a equivalent degree .
