I like the spartan IV’s I didn’t at first, but after finding out the aren’t as strong as the II’s and III’s, as well as the fact Halsey doesn’t consider them actual Spartans I’ve warmed up to them. Not saying I necessarily like all the characters we have… I think the problem is how the characters are written not the concept.
I don't mind spartan 4s in canon, I like that they're no longer torturing actually children to achieve their goals and that there's a more humane way of going about it now.
That'd be tight. If we could create our own elite and play our own little story I'd be down for that. I hope in the future we get an open world game where you can select out of every species in the halo universe and choose what class you wanna be while living your own path in what you choose down the road. On top of that, the scarab fell and further exploded, taking the more than likely mangled corpse of Carter with him. Especially because again, dude wasn’t wearing a helmet, and also had plasma holes in his suit. Dude wasn’t going to be able to make it off reach. Noble 6 didn’t, and he was one of the most dangerous Spartans out there alongside Chief, and he still went out fighting and dying, digging untold of numbers of graves for the covenant before they put him down. Jun’s the only survivor of noble team for a reason, and he still is an unknown state due to the destruction of the spartan 4 orbital training facility during the Created war.

My fight with him was a walk in the park, I didn't die a single time, not sure if it took me 2min for me to kill him, I shot and thre grenades at him to oblivion, mastering the graplin hook and the scanner I could always see him and just move to another floor. I was playing in hard. I was like "wtf, already gone?". Without a doubt a relief for the next 2 boss fights.
I hope he keeps getting more and more mechanical if they decide to not kill him in the future. He could even have a negative character arc compated to Guilty Spark, become a Monitor-tier A.I. like Spark and get an Armiger body with custom elite based anatomy just to eternally keep stalking any supersoldiers or augmented individuals, be them human or not. They are all the same to him. "Say Goodbye". The Domain will probably keep giving him spare bodies just so he never even touches it, not even with a stick. Also, in a way, keeps augmented personnel in check, the boogiemen of Spartans: "The Silent Shadow".
In halo infinite you can see the corpse of all bosses except jega, who when killed you only see some energy blade scorch marks hinting at his escape rather than his death
Hope we see more from him. Halo Infinite did a really incredible job in treating their villains well, something that can't be said for a lot media, particularly movies.
Xytan Jar Wattinree is still the most feared Sangheli of all time. He's an equivalent of a spartan to a normal human for the Sangheli. The way he died is just a damn shame.

I still don’t understand where this perception that Spartan IVs aren’t impressive comes from. Yes, IIs and IIIs have superior augmentations but IVs are still superhuman killing machines and modern day Mjolnir lets them tussle with IIs.
Its just the community's perception on what halo 4, 5 and spartans ops has shown of them. They also dont really fit the mantra of being a 'spartan' , that being : "Tragic children, either kidnapped or orphaned then recruited and trained from a young age to be the ultimate killing machines. Usually also quite stoic and disciplined or just very lethal. " The spartan 4's are effective and certainly morally speaking more ethical but they really dont fit the name of being spartans in terms of their origins, nor the discipline in contrast to what is shown by the 2's or 3's.

Was pissed cause I could never find his body. And had no idea where the sniper had even hit him.
