I have found that on the "Z", I can get the grease gun coupler onto that front universal joint fiting from the RIGHT side easier than the left. Using the rear one like you did, I get it aimed at about 5 o'clock position as looking from the front. The grease hose goes down and then back up to push onto the fitting. I can not see it, but I can feel my way to it, only a couple of minutes and way less cussing.

The rubber "Duck Bill" on the air cleaner lid is NOT an intake. The intake is a metal box inside the side plate behind the air box. The "Duck Bill" is supposed to be oriented so that it is downward facing. The theory is, any larger particles of dirt, sand, or chaf can be removed by squeezing the bill to open it. It really does not work well at that, but it is what it is.
Very true. Not really sure why I put it on in the video oriented up.
The lid is even labeled TOP, which has the rubber outlet pointing down when installed.
I will send this to a friend who owns a Ventrac, he said last year the charged him over $1200.00 to service his and that was including picking it up/delivering it.

Maybe that included the coolant and hydraulic system. The hydraulic fluid is expensive.

They just call for a Lithium Complex NLGI #2.
Most info I’ve researched on grease usually just points to a quality NLGI #2.
