Galaxie 500 - Ceremony (demo)

A cover of the famous Joy Division/New Order song from the Slash records sessions in February 1989. This version is faster and closer to the original than the one recorded later which ended up on the On Fire album.

Never knew there was a demo for this, by Galaxie anyway. Just thought one of the best singles ever made for Joy Division’s most obscure song, being that it was only played live once that I know of, but (never committed to vinyl thru a studio recording) just as live tracks post -mortem Joy Div. This is a fantastic Demo!
