The short names are as valid as the long ones - or you don't like the fact that it seems to omit Moravia and Silesia even more than the long name the Czech republic. By the way, the region "Čechy" is called "Bohemia" in EN, so the distinction of "Čechy" and "Česko" is bigger in EN with "Bohemia" and "Czechia"
