Wembys usage rate is actually through the roof, and the Spurs lead the league in assists. The whole "they're not giving him the ball" narrative just flat out isn't true. Devin and Tre, and even Sandro toward the end of the season have a very good chemistry on the court with Vic.

Bro is getting the ball almost as much as Luka and more than Lebron but somehow we have this narrative that they’re refusing to pass to him. Honestly the other young guys need to develop too. This was never a competing season let them take shots and make mistakes it’s how everyone learns

As if Wemby's stats aren't eye watering enough... when you take into account the minutes restriction he was on most of the season, it doesn't take much to squint and see next season stats being easily 10-15% higher. The last month or so of the season was like watching a movie where the rag tag team of misfits bring in one inspiring player and they start to believe that they can win as a team. The rest of the league needs to watch the tape of the Spurs-Nuggets game over and over and try to be ready for what's coming next season. If Kentucky's Dillingham ends up at point, things could get really interesting, really quckly. ☮❤🏀
