I love the cover but, I feel like you didn't have the right emotion in your cover, dodie's was much more emotional and in depth, i could really feel the emotions coming from her and you guys seemed to make the song feel forced.

Dodie isn't a theatre person so naturally her style is softer and more subtle. Some people prefer that; others don't. I know what you mean. Dodie is more of a indie, soulful and song singer who uses head voice a lot, which fits the style of the song more. Even though they sang this really well I feel like Dodies style suits this rather soft song best :)
