I don't know what it is with wood but as I grow older I appreciate it more in home decor, especially in rooms like this.

How big are the shelves?
I just built something similar. Did you use pipe straps to hold the shelves in place? Mine are very well balanced but just curious
No I didn't I am just adding an additional pipe in the middles for support
@@Bourbinsane yeah I used 2 bars and put the shelves on. I added weight to the ends but the shelf didn't budge. Just wanted to see what you may have done. Thank you for the assistance
How does the room look in 2023?
It's pretty full but been killing alot of "almost gone" bottles so dwindling a bit haha

What dimension boards and pipes?
Pipes are 8 inches long from the wall. Boards are only 1/2 in thick but all different lengths

Never trust that your studs are 16" on center. Your builder probably didn't care, so you must find them.
I did use a stud finder off camera to make sure haha. Can't risk the whiskey falling!
Lol I've been hinting to my girl that we are heading in this same direction. The room looks great! So I'll bet you did a bottle count while transferring. What was the total number of bottles to start this new set location???
It was just shy of 200. Not including sample bottles which I probably have another 75 to 100 of I would guess. The Whiskey Community is extremely generous!
