Join me on a Saturday as I shop for the week for my family of 5. I'm trying to go 'back to basics' and keep the shopping under £100, which is an ever-increasing challenge in this cost of living crisis.

Well done for sticking to ur budget, I think u did really well for the money. BTW u can buy whatever u want to buy with ur money! Ppl who moan about the eggs do they also buy the incredibly expensive free range meats as well, do they check every product containing eggs and meat to make sure its free range, bet most of them don't. We can only do some much, ur family is looked after and well fed, that's what matters xxx

Hey lovely, have you thought about using scan as you shop in places like Tesco and Asda? It adds it all up for you to save you doing it yourself including the offers! Plus you bag your stuff as you go along!xx

During the winter most eggs are from barn hens as they keep them indoors due to the risk of avian flu
Think you got a lot for your money, must admit I always shop lidl or aldi never try tesco because of prices. I agree with you about the eggs, I get the cheapest ones because of the price and nit being able to regularly afford the free range especially when the cheaper ones are in the shop anyway. 😅

Great job Claire! I also use the calculator on my phone as I go. You could use some of the cheese thins or cream crackers with the excess ricotta and sliced cucumber or tomato as a snack? You forgot your pizza again 😂 has Zac tried pineapple on pizza?

Would Zach eat pineapple fingers? They're 3 for £1.50 - maybe less - in most supermarkets. A whole pineapple is 69p in Asda

Honestly never done a big tesco shop ever..popped into the Tesco express yesterday for a meal deal on the way to softplay & couldn't believe the price difference from asda for a certain sauce we buy...tesco was 96p dearer...although i really don't know if the tesco express is more expensive than a normal tesco shop...suppose it depends what you buy & everywhere is expensive anyway! Iam an asda girl 😂 xx
You always do fantastic shops and consider everybody in the house. I never understand why people criticise what people buy. Its not like that shop has produced that product just for one or two people😂 . Anyway, hope everyone is well. I suffer awful with hayfever, im writing this with bug eyes atm as they have been that riffy xxx

I thought you got quite a lot fir your money there like you say you spent over £10 on medications 💊 to start with. You dint have to apologise for buying whatever you like. Can't believe some people get back at you ( or any 1 else whose git a channel) for buying certain things etc, it's crazy isnt it !! Sone people If they got nothing nice to say should just shut the f..k up !! None of their business. I think you've done well online this shop. You try really hard to watch the ingredients in things your kids eat without depriving them of things & treats. And who dosent like a treat !! My treats are crisps!! And it's real life if your kitchen is untidy so what?? (It didbt look untidy anyway just your shopping out on the worktops) don't be so hard on yourself Claire.

You did good for that haul hun (allergy stuff definitely cheaper in home bargains and you get 30 in them, me and my son go through them)xx
