Claire easy meals are fine. You include plenty healthy foods x
Great tea ideas hun đ„°đ„°đ„° xx
I love the simple ideas! Thank you, I also have some picky eaters in the house, so this was helpful
Such sweet gifts đ
Great ideas x
Iâm afraid Iâm going to be the miserable one in the room!! Iâm so relieved this teacherâs gift business is a relatively new phenomenon because it really doesnât sit very comfortable with me. And before everyone come for me, yes I appreciate the hard work teachers and all the staff do , but this gifting presents, is it really necessary? A card yes and maybe a little gesture but there are parents who go completely overboard with the buying ( not aimed at anyone here) and I wonder who is really for? Iâve heard some schools use these as a bribe to get their children perks in school, Iâm not really sure I believe this but it certainly seems to create pressure and competition among parents! On a more basic level, do Teachers need specific thank yous and gifts? Are they not just doing their job? I used to be a nurse and we werenât allowed to accept individual gifts, if relatives etc really wanted to gift , we had a fund it went into to benefit everyone or tea/coffee to be shared around everyone. Plus the expense and stress of buying Teachers gifts, there is enough to worry about! I might just be the misery in the corner but as Iâve said I really arenât too sure about this issue personally xx
A simple easy week is sometimes whats needed, plus at least it was food the kids like.
Sometimes you have to do what you can and what you did was very yummy and looked great â€xxx
Great video yummy easy dinners bellies full whatâs not to love
Thanks lovely đ§Ą
Can we be friends in real life please, because you give really kind, thoughtful gifts! Hehe obviously I'm kidding, but the tea, sugar, biscuits & tea cakes are such thoughtful gifts that will be gratefully received & appreciated during their tea breaks! You've been so generous :) đž
Aww the chocolate mint thins will really be appreciated after all the marking & planning they have to do in the evenings. All of my old teacher friends said their evenings were consumed with planning etc, so that will be the perfect 'after eight' treat!
This is brilliant Claire, love the gift ideas....If I may ask, do you give them on the last day of term or just any random day?
Thank you 𧥠I'll be taking these into school either later today or tomorrow xx
Aww what a gorgeous, helpful, smiley little girl. She's definitely on father Christmas's nice list this year & what a pretty yellow dress too :)
Well done on getting some sugar for the staff room. I remember when everyone was looking for sugar, and there's never any. Great gifts â€
I love those home made rolls. I really need to stop being lazy and make some really!! Glad there was nothing wrong with your scan! Hope you narrow it down soon. Happy you got a new car, and allow yourself to be happy about it, if something goes wrong it does we gotta go with it but enjoy having a working car †Haha glad my kids are not the only ones that stick stickers all over me lol on me my laptop my bag my car đ I canât wait for you to have your holiday you deserve it and itâs very much needed. Although I understand how stressful holidays can be with kids too but do enjoy it and try relax!! Iâm secretly going to be jealous while youâre away đ Iâm craving a holiday but we need to wait until October!

Oh this was so hard to watch you upset đą but Iâm so happy you have somewhere you can let it out. We all have days where we let the things that build up out itâs ok and normal. I get that feeling where it all is just go go go and so much to remeber, and it feels like you donât have a second to breathe and you never stop. Big hugs hun Iâm here if you ever need to vent weâre all in it together. Your not alone big big hugs xx
We had such a week now â€
Hey it's okay we all have weeks like that
I got clays teacher a sweet hamper first time I've ever brought a teacher a gift but I think it's well deserved he's been brilliant this year with clay and very understanding and supportive during very challenging times! Nice little gifts there claire x
What an amazing idea
Hi Claire, I know exactly how you feel! Nothing like a good cry. Thanks for sharing real life with us. â€
Such nice gifts! â€
Very thoughtful gifts â€
Very kind of you
This is what I do. I did a full on hamper at Christmas and it was so appreciated x
What lovely thoughtful gifts. Great ideas Iâll remember these when itâs our end of year! Oh I couldnât do a teachers job either, preschool educator was enough đ What a wonderful video thanks for sharing enjoy your summer break â€x
I must remember the party bags as gift bags....fantastic idea Claire. I would never have thought of doing that!!!
I always like to purchase a nice gift for the teacher and for the assistants who help.my son. I tend to buy a Yankee candle, box of chocolates, then a vanity pack of cheap and cheerful eye and face masks, emery board, nail varnish and hand wipes. The classroom assistants who work with Zachri got smaller Yankee candles, I got healthy protein bars for 1 assistant and chocs for another. I also added a trolley thingy, face mask and a can of monster for each (they both love it and I know the flavours they prefer. I've also bought wine, whisky and restaurant / clothes vouchers before as well as scraves boots vouchers etc. Basically I get to know the people involved as I'm at the school a lot, trying to find ways to calm Zachri down, get him to work, lower his constant anxiety driven drumming, refusal to work or issues relating to his heart. My sister and some friends are teachers and I know the gifts they love parents getting for them. Because Zach has other teachers, a SEN lady and a school therapist who work with him over the course of a year I too buy things for the staff room. As the tea/coffee/biscuits/sugar etc are bought by the school, I buy flavoured tea, coffee syrups, buns, health bars etc and this year I bought vouchers to our local bakery so the teachers can enjoy a weekly treat for a few months. However, unlike many parents, I do not buy Easter or Christmas gifts. At Easter, as Zachri's class is small I sent in the small ASDA ÂŁ1.25 Easter eggs but this yr was the 1st. I'd rather buy a better end of year present than small gifts at different times. Zachri is hard work at school. He has autism, dyspraxia and high anxiety and most teachers he's had have a difficult task with him and as well as verbally saying it, I like to show our appreciation. It doesn't matter how much one spends, my sister has a few wealthy families with kids in her class, she gets fantastic gifts, Tiffany heart necklace nomination bracelet with several charms , champagne, ÂŁ150 Amazon vouchers etc; but she also gets cheap sweets, b&m tiny fake cacti, homemade thank you cards...... Every small gift is greatly appreciated.
Great idea Claire, I think I will opt for this idea for next time. Iâve already bought the gifts for the teachers but it ended up being more than what I can really afford and it also doesnât include all the other helpers too! â€â€â€
Fab idea. As a teacher, I love that the support staff are remembered too! X
đ§Ąđ§Ą
Great idear for gift bags â€
Thank you - I'm so glad I was given the tip xx
Great idea, better than buying mugs etc as they all end up donated to the charity shops.
Thank you xx
Nice gifts â€
Thank you xx
What a great idea đ and definitely saves some money xxx Loving your channel especially the haulsâ€
Thank you so much! đxx
Great idea for the gift bags x
It wasn't my idea, but I'm glad I was given it! Xx
Thank you for being real :)
No problem đ
You are doing an amazing job. One strong lady, remember that â€
Thank you lovely đ§Ą
Thank you for sharing Mum overwhelm is hard. You said that you wanted to let other Mum's know they are not alone, I hope you know you are not alone either xx
Hope you're feeling better. The sense of hundreds of things to do and looking after people/kids is overwhelming. I feel like this every so often. My way of calming myself down is chunking it. Dealing with one thing then the next and so on. This time of year, end of school year, is MADNESSđą
Back again forgot to say those mugs are soooo nice.
Thank you - you know me and my mugs đđ§Ą
Thank you for sharing, I find you so relatable, honest & realistic. I am feeling the same as your right now, and my children are all similar aged, with one heading to Secondary in Sept. & two younger children. Also have fussy eaters. Totally understand how you are feeling, and thank you for reminding me that I am not alone in feeling like this right now. x
Sometimes life really is a bit%h. You're having to do what most mums have to do Claire. We are all torn into a million pieces and you may feel totally inundated with things to do, but in reality Claire You're a mum what you have to do, we all have to do and many work full time ie from 8 to 5 and still we cope. BUT many of us also have times were we lock ourselves away & have a good cry & some days it's worse than others. Thankfully my schedule is no longer insane but i have a 13 ye old hormonal son with intense anger issues, autism and dyspraxia and i have days were i just want to jump off the nearest bridge, but i can't. Was wondering Claire if you physically write down what tasks you have to do and then give them a priority number? It really does help especially with people who get over whelmed with tasks at hand.. plus by giving them a priority it helps your over whelmed anxiety riddled head. Why panic about getting everything done when 3 things are priority 5 or 6 (top priority =1). Re Kids. Have you tried allocating daily/weekly tasks to each child? With an incentive be it pocketmoney, a treat they don't normally get or at the end of the month a day out to somewhere they love. You are Claire 1st, a mum 2nd and then a husband (yes people put their hubby 1st or b4 kids...i don't..we're all different). Nowhere have i mentioned slave. Everyone lives in the house and kids needs structure and kids also need to be taught and given responsibilities...they may yap for a while ..so what, let them complain. You have chosen to be a traditional mum doing so-called women's work which is fine but if you are constantly over whelmed Claire, get the kids involved. Sorry for the ramble, but these are easy things to do and they are effective Claire. As i tell myself billions of other mums cope with all this shit every day and are these women better than me...hell no, are they better than you Claire ? HELL NO!!! I hope since a bit of time has gone by from you filmed this that you are feeling a bit better. Remember no one can eat an elephant whole, but we can break it down to small pieces and eat it that way. If all else fails watch 365 days â€.....
Awe đđđ I donât have kids of my own but I did bring 2 of my nephews up from a young age and I can totally understand the stress end of term brings (especially year 6 leavers) Just take a minute too ur self and relax âșïž ur kids and husband are all healthy all fed and all happy đ kids are challenging at times my nephews tried testing the boundaries But u gotta stick too ur guns hun get them cleaning their mess up tell them too make their own beds in the morning little things that will help u out đ„° my niece is 5 (almost 6) and my brother started her from 2 too pick up her toys clean. Her messes up and by 4 she was making her own bed in the morning sometimes she tries to push her parents buttons and misbehave she doesnât like it when they are mad at her for not listening but sheâs a kid and will always try push the buttons of my brother đ„°đ„°đ„° I would recommend u try get a diagnosis of ADHD sooner rather than later then if u do have it there are tablets especially formulated too treat it my brother as it and he can really struggle with time keeping even more so since he has a 5 year old and a 9 month old đđđ Take care Claire â€â€â€ love Claire from Bradford xc
Iâm always here for you â€you have such a kind heart and you check in on me privately and I appreciate it â€â€â€đ
You are doing an amazing job I'm a mum to and some time's it's shit but we keep going on . We love our babies but we must also love ourselves. Stay strong â€
And this is why I watch your channel as you show real life. To be honest I donât know how you do it with 3 children and work. I think it is much harder with pre-teens & teenagers. Give me a babe anytimeđ
Oh I feel with you
