YESSSS! I've been waiting for you to react to Camila for the longest time! I even asked about it on your live. So, I was so happy to see this! To answer your question, this song is not that similar to what was on her previous album. This song is much more rock-like than what she's done in the past, but you should still check out her debut album. It definitely has the latin-pop songs like Havana, but it also has her song Never Be the Same which is kind of a power ballad and probably most similar to Shameless. But she has a lot of more singer-songwriter-y type songs on there as well that really show off how versatile she is as an artist/vocalist/songwriter. It's a Grammy nominated album, so it's definitely worth checking out.
And I'm glad you recognized how phenomenal her vocals are. Her tone is really something special - my personal favorite in pop music tbh. And I know you like to check out live performances and her live vocals are incredible. You really can't go wrong there. Some people I've seen mention that you could react to her AMA's performance of "Consequences" and I would co-sign that. It's a ballad so it gives you the best look into what her live vocals sound like without distractions of dancing and production and what not. There's also a great acoustic version of Havana that she did on Billboard Women in Music that might be fun to check out to see how she can really strip that song back and make it special in a new way. But she really shines even in those more upbeat performances as well like when she's performed on Fallon, Ellen, the Grammys, even the Capital Summertime Ball which is very similar to her tour set, etc. But yeah, I love all of your reactions, but I would love to see you react to Camila more. Yea shameless is definitely her best work to date, but with her music she has also a little bit of everything. With Havana it’s inspired by her Latin roots. Then she has songs like never be the same which is like a mid tempo pop song. Then other songs on her album she has ballads like consequences, all these years, and something’s gotta give which are amazing as well.

She is the only singer I’ve ever heard who is better live than on an album. She exudes honest emotions and it feels so intense. I saw the reputation tour four times! Yes, I Taylor Swift but I found I love Camila’s music as well. She writes her own stuff and just seems so genuine. You should definitely dive in and listen to her self titled album and anything and everything on CZcams that she’s done live.

Camila enjoys genre-hopping! I recommend you check out Never Be The Same. None of her old songs sound like Shameless but she worked with these producers in her new album and with Finneas who produced Billie Eilish's work.
she goes from latin pop, to singer-songwriter, to a mix of other genres. She even dabbled a little in trap on her track OMG.
But like literally you really should try to react to Camilla asap because you absolutely will be changed from the experience. 👌👌

Now I love me some Camila. Never was into 5H, but she does her thing. Shameless is VERY different from her usual work just warning you. I loved where she went with Shameless but Liar (despite being good) makes me nervous cause it seems treaded for her.
definitely recommend checking out her other work! she really experiments with different styles and genre influences and is always pushing herself out of her comfort zone, and her first album has a really great range musically, everything from darker trap sounds to piano ballads to minimalist, acoustic-driven pop to reggaeton to, well, havana. plus, she's a fantastic live performer! really enjoyed this vid, I love that you're so committed to keeping an open mind about artists and call yourself out when you fall into assumptions, so many people can't/won't do that.
You should listen to her 1st album before her 2nd one, Romance, comes out so you can compare the two. Her 1st one doesn't sound like this song, but it is very good. I think Romance is going to be a huge progression from Camila based on the first 4 songs she has released from it.
If you react to the other single Liar, make sure you listen to the song first and then do the music video bc the mv has lots of interruptions

Her vocals are pretty good even though this song isn’t the best one she’s ever put out(in my opinion) . She has a few amazing songs on her debut album. You’ll really like never be the same i think. Also, crying in the club and I have questions! These two weren’t on her album but are literally her best songs
