hey, just picked up this game.. its def fun if not a little janky (npcs don't appear during conversations etc) .. got stuck in a house with 3 of those dog type mechs outside and aimed at 1 through a window with a bird shot but I guess because they were grouped so closely I wound up taking out all 3 when it's top part blew off.. so satisfying.. 1 in a million shot lol... great vid btw!! 👌
Thanks enjoy the game so much exploring and adventures ahead
Thank you for splitting the episodes the 1st episode is literally just an introduction which is nice and this episode is what youccame here for.
No worries I thought it was important to split these , thanks for your comment 👍🏻
Thanks for this video! I played Gen Zero right at the start but since I've never had someone to play with, I stopped after some time.
But since Gen Zero suddenly popped up in my news feed and Avalanche updated a lot I gave it another shot (this time with my brother at my side).
And with all the updated, it's so much more fun! The environmental story telling is on point and the thread of all these motherlovers really keeps up my heartbeat.
I'm glad you did this video since it will make defending myself a lot easier. Thanks for the detailed explanation, I didn't even know that, f.e., a Tank has that much weak points I can shoot. I usually go for the weapons and the red eye. And, if I'm lucky or able to draw it's attention on something else (pretty often it's my brother, who needs to sacrifice himself but no war won without some casualty), I go for the gastank. But thanks to your explanation I will be able to get them down more efficiently and without wasting ammo.
Hope you'll do a video on the new machines too, the Wolf and especially the Firebird are also hard to take on.
Keep up the good work, man! :)
Hi Hero, great to hear you have come back to this game as I feel it is very underrated. I know this can be very challenging to play especially solo.
I haven't played for a while so maybe its worth jumping back in.
Thanks for the recommendation and stay awesome
That is part of the fun is working out how best to take down your enemy. Very satisfying when a plan comes together. With the Tanks I find the most efficient way to take them down when you have sniping advantage is to shoot off the weapons first then the knee pads after that take out the RED EYE before the face plate. The face plate will only need a couple of shots to take out. After that the tank is at your mercy....just spray with any automatic fire. So a good rule of thumb is to get first rid of what can harm/kill you, especially with Tanks, Harvesters and at times Hunters. Then any protection like knee or shin pads (4 shin pads with Harvesters). Quite often you can take out the dogs then hunters before alerting the big guy....BUT...don't miss or pause to reload when you haven't quite dispatched your target otherwise they tend to gang up on you. Hope this adds to your excellent advise and thank you for your video.
Thanks so much for the tips I am still learning this awesome game. Any additional strategy I can add to my knowledge base is appreciated
Great vid man. These were really good tips and with helpful visuals of their components, too! I just started playing this game... love the Red Dawn/late 80s vibes
Hi Devon thanks for the positive feedback, this game is great hope you enjoy it as much as I did
Just watched your part one. Excellent observations and intelligence on each of the machines. You mentioned the Rival. I have just dispensed my 6th Rival and have spawned a 7th at Himfjall Island. To spawn a Reaper your skill level must be above 25 and the region above 21 (note go for 24) and then there must be less than 8 Rivals in the region. I have about 4 regions that are 24. My Goal is to fight a Reaper in each region. Note: you can only have ONE Reaper spawned at a time. Hope this helps...gives you something to aim for:)
ps A Reaper is 10 times stronger than a any Tank.
Wow I can’t wait for that one mate, I am getting close to this level so it a new challenge 😂😂
@@Gaming4XP I love a challenge
Fun watch Stu. This is a tight game for sure. Still not sure what the lore is in the game just haven't had time but it is intriguing.
As long as a game is fun that’s enough for me 😇
Genuinely really helpful thank you so much man!
No worries enjoy the game 👍🏻
great vids! what difficulty level are you on?
Hi Roland thanks for the support, from memory I play on Skirmish difficulty level.
@@Gaming4XP ok, maybe I should take it down a notch. I’m playing on Guerilla so far 🤪
No worries,it is a pretty challenging game so if you are struggling a bit why not play around with the different difficulties until you find the one that best suits you.
