    Another point about the Infra-red module: it allows you to instantly see the weak component areas of an enemy. They are the black areas, versus the armoured orange areas.
    This means you can instantly see the areas you need to target to do the most damage, which is an absolute game-changer. Once you get the 6c pvg, you'll be tearing through tanks and harvesters like they're made out of cardboard.

    I just started my run across the bottom from Amerod to the church HQ NE of Savered, along the main road, before it heads north right there, straight up to Klinte. I trailed about 50 robots behind me, including three tanks, and holed up at the church to take them all out. What a great fight. I like putting EMP on my weapons as an augment.

      The same is true with ammo boxes (the ones you can find in crates).
      Drop one on the floor, equip the gun you want ammo for with the type of ammo you need, and that's what the boxes give.
      VERY useful way to get emp shells for the launcher 😁👍

      @@diomed011 You're welcome brother! I just wanted to drop in and say thank you once again. As a result of following your advice about obtaining the AI-76 and other late game weapons early on I'm very well stocked up and armed to take on the rest of the game. I used your advice combined with some advice from Tenibrus' video for how to get the best start and added my own twist. I started the journey around level 7 right after I had cleared the Saltholmen Naval Base. Now I have quite a few nice 4 & 5 crown guns and attachments as well as all the crafting materials, medkits, n adrenaline, etc I could possibly need to play the rest of the game with! So once again thanks for that fren!

    Oh brother, I'm going to tell ya (imho) the *#1* tip I've seen from the beginner vid and still a few mins into this one, the *#1* tip I had no clue about and is absolutely amazing, that's *the mules!* The very first thing I aim for was double carrying cap. Especially once I noticed I could only carry (well hold in storage) was limited @200lbs. I about shit when I was at double carry cap of 96lbs and then I seen I was filled up in storage @200. I broke down every I could like duplicate guns and gun mods etc and still only went down to 140lbs. So when you said you could do the mule thing, even though it is kind of a pain = saving, quitting, loading back up, grabbing what you need, quitting, loading back up, etc etc etc over over and over... But I'll Take It Still!!
    My wife tell me I ruin games. In open world games I have a tendency to run off the beat and path to go search around and grab stuff etc. Well then next thing you know I'm completely jacked, say when on a normal run you should honestly be about lvl 6 or so at one given point, I'm lvl 16 at the point. So I get bored after days or weeks of playing a game that I've basically seen everything but I'm not even half way through the game. It's happened a few times...
    Oh, and for starters I dont know if you've said this, it's kinda obvious, though so is "almost everything" imo that's said in most tips and tricks vids from any game on YT, but every little gray box on the map does have something there loot wise. So you can sneak around the map and even the tiniest little gray point on the farthest corner of an area, it could just be a car, a rock, but it has loot there 100% I've seen. It could be just clothes, a flare, it could be a lvl 3,4,5 gun. 🤷‍♂️ Don't know unless you check. Which is why I'm completely full all of the time... 😒
    And one more thing, I know some frown on this, others love using them, but for the sake of 100%ers, there is a interactive collectibles map even after the latest update I believe it said, but you can click the box in the top right corner and it's a drop down list of everything. You click what you want put up on the map. So if you only want the map to say show where lvl 3 guns are, or 4, 5, you just click those options. Say you need the "collectibles" only, love letters etc, just click those. But if you click everything, that map gets completely FULL with different colored dots. But you can click say on the green dot (all dots) and see if it's a flare, or if it's a lvl 1,2,3,4,5 gun or gun mod etc you've been wanting. Its the DECA Generation Zero interactive map. Helps to get the collectibles in certain areas that are impossible to find that last gun or Gnone to get that 100% for any given area, gets you that needed 100% XP. Just thought I'd throw that out there. It's probably has been said already, but either way... Have fun, it's really a great game even going in solo as I always do.

    great video dude. hope i get some of your hint drops. just reached level 25. didn't know about killing rivals after level 25 but will start now. thanks for the tips. liked and subbed. keep it coming. by the way i just got into gen zero on PS5. hope all the weapons you mentioned are still there.

    Excellent guide thanks! I'm a complete newbie. Picked up the game on steam summer sale. SP on pc for me. Seems to be some kind of bug currently, can't sprint. But still i must say I kind of love the game. Since I'm not able to sprint at the moment my style leans heavy on stealth. But I will try to level up according to your suggestions in case the bug is removed.
    BTW I'm Swedish so it's kind of funny with the familiar landscape and references.

    Ammo was easy to make. The devs ruined this game by nerfing the crafting. Great video!

    to add to the "they dont support stealth" the second you hit ANYTHING, they know your exact location no matter how far you tagged them from. . . like what is even the point of a suppressor then?!?

    So a bit late to the party but you don't need lock picking to get the AI 76 rifle. If you search the cars parked out back you can find a key in the trunk of one and just unlock the door. Hope this helps some peeps.

    "Carry the gun you want ammo for" THANK YOU! I will now carry the grey rocket launcher you get in one of the first main story bunkers and a glock and a 5.56 and my mp5 and whatever else I want to hoard ammo for.

    I took salvage, tho almost as a last point because the lvl4 base assault missions eat a shit-ton of ammo.. I had thousands of mats, thousands of ammo and after 4 lvl4 base assault missions I had to go on a looting run around the map 😂

    Hows it going mate, see that safehouse at the top that you cant fast travel to, if you look just north west of the safehouse theres a small grey square at the edge of the sea, thats where the fast travel unlocked for me, I just went there after watching your video.
    Theres a small shed with a collectable in it, when I went in there it unlocked :)

    One Tipp from me: DONT rush the early game. Don’t just run for the 4 crown AK and the 5 crown weapon. Progress naturally. Use different weapons and experiment with your loadout a little. You’ll get plenty of good weapons in the late game. You cheat yourself of a experience.

    Don't know if there's been an update, but I barely started 2 days ago (only a few hours each day cause of work). I was lying prone trying to avoid some hunters and they literally were stepping on top of me not being alerted. I couldn't help but laugh, I'm also only level 2 so I had no stealth skills.

    Most underrated tip is jumping while you sprint. It makes you sprint much longer

    It sucks going wayyyyy up there. I got a purple 50 caliber going halfway. It took like 3 hours because I had to crawl. Not worth it in my opinion.

    Really good tips for the game, but man, if you want your video quality to improve, you need to step up your editing a bit. Look around at some of the most successful CZcams vids that have tips and tricks and they are very well edited such that the content of the video is just the tips. Watching you fumble through menus trying to find things is just painful. Most videos have scripts, and they really help make sure information is given out as concisely as possible.

      HEHEH thanks, appreciate it. My hatred of Glocks isn't entirely rational. The 'safe action' safety on the trigger is stupid; otherwise, it's a perfectly ok weapon. I just prefer my Anubis Beretta 92FS. :)

      Yeah, I've heard about the failures. There are arguments for an against the 92FS. I love mine, but its a Phrobis 92FS. Sweetest shooting pistol I've ever owned. It has never failed on me once, not in 10,000+ rounds. It fits my hand perfectly. I don't trust the Glock's 'safe action' feature. As a cop, it is a bombastically stupid idea. I carred my 92FS with the manual safety engaged and practiced regulary drawing the weapon and disengaging that safety. Then I would engage it as I reholstered it. As I drew my weapon almost daily, this was far safer compared to the glock. I know of three local guys who shot themselves or their buddies as they holstered their glocks. If a suspect disarms you they can easily kill you with it, if my manual safety is on or a I drop the mag I have some extra time to act with the 92FS. I will never own a glock.

    what would help you Dying for bag space is limiting what you decide to hold in your Plundra and on your Character... That buck bird slug .243 all can be Dropped. How many Med-kits do you carry at a time? Do you go adrenaline or none Adrenaline all hurt your weight.... As well in your Crafting Menu's, what are you prioritizing as key resources to have...? Probably Uranium, Steel, Explosive and wood should be the highest correct? On your clothing is 100% of the clothing's you find Crafting to fit a new Layout..?
    just the thought process of freeing up bag space. On the Characters buildings --- Vanguard :( ya totally not a fan of it bc it forces the game to put into training wheels.....
    You say Stealth doesn't work and they will see you no matter what... Mhmm? Well here's a tip on Stealth way of farming Rivals. When they are Lvl 1 Find them Shoot em up but don't kill them, get them to like 20-30% health when they hit LvL 4 there health won't increase. Switch to Gorilla and Farm them for better % of drop rates for Exp Wpns / clothing. Personally i didn't take 1 point in the Combat tree, because you really don't need it at most the Bullet and Explosive Resistance.
    Yes Tenebris and WireGaming does Run and Gun.... if 2 main people do that. Does this count as a meta? quote from the Steam Page : Generation Zero is a stealth-action hybrid with a rich and rewarding world to explore and mysteries to uncover. Stealth takes patience and time to pull off...

    after the update. and the new experimental Stamina Med kits this is my prefer style of play.... 0% combat. Designated Target for 10% increase in Support. Full Stealth Commando. Component Damage and Explosive Damage.

      Yeah, think so. It's been a while since I played that game. Sorry, I don't recall exactly how you get the gold version but I recall that you get it doing either the main quest or another side quest. MAYBE

    I started this game today. I cannot for the life of me figure out the ammo types with the guns. There is nothing that says what ammo goes with which gun. HOW can I figure this out without looking at a chart constantly?? I get overloaded with ammo that I don't know what it goes to

      In the modification menu you should see the ammo slot at the top of the list on the left hand side of the screen. Click to change ammo and you will see the caliber that goes with that weapon.

    My preferred weapon is the Model 1911A1 .45 ACP. The police department where I live switched to the glock, and two officers managed to shoot themselves trying to holster their weapons! So I agree, the glock is garbage!
