what I like to do is spot 3 decreasing candles, followed by a doji candle, then 3 increasing candles after, then I trade, then I use stochastic RSI to cross when this happens and this gets me a pretty solid 2 indicator setup. I have others but this is a consistent winner for me

You can use either or, they don’t have to be telling you the exact same thing because you only use them to “support” what you’ve already established with price action

I've started using HA candles with a moving average channel( to help with trend identification and help filter consolidation areas) for opportunities on H1/H4 with entries on m5/M15. On the lower TF entry, I am still using regular candles for the actual entry. I think the regular candlesticks are still more precise on the entry timeframe but I am experimenting with it either way.
