The last of the two main bosses I've yet to complete in the game. Very fun fight, and luckily this version I didn't have elemental resist so I could run a bit of a different build to slow down the fight and show it off. I'll have the spectral version up shortly too, unfortunately that one did have elemental resist, but I paced it out a bit rather than just burning it down.

I fought a different version of this boss and he just destroyed me over and over. I finally re-rolled because I was so frustrated and it was my first world. I've been waiting for this fight in particular to go up because they're actually quite helpful to me. Just to be able to see how you approach it usually gives me ideas on how I can better approach it, so thank you. I wish there were some way to pick your brain about builds and stuff because I'm sure I would learn a ton, but the videos are more than enough. Keep up the great work brother.
Override pin makes this boss a thousand times easier, the physical form is such ass cancer.
@@Ashen_Night116 Yeah I found that out after I rage re-rolled. I think it may not have spawned in my version of Ne'rud that time. The hands bursting up from the ground and the vacuum ball, and the goddamn lasers. I just couldn't put it all together and dodge efficiently enough.
It was on the last world for me and I just said screw it and uninstalled the entire game. There's a difference between challenging and poorly designed. The version I had definitely didn't look like this, it had so much crap going on at once it was impossible to even figure out where the hell you were getting hit from.
@@Particle_GhostIt's not impossible, just challenging. You fought the spirit version, I had such a hard time but eventually got it. Trial and error
@@soulofcinder4748 I reinstalled it and my save file is backed up on the cloud, I found out I wasn't shooting it at the spot. I'm now on Scorched Earth.
I just love how in sync the gun is with the music. Felt like this gun was made for this boss.

There’s another version of this boss, that has a Green heart instead of this purple one and is way more tedious.

btw when the lasers and the crystal orb attack comes up together I found that standing at either end (left or right) of the arena will allow you to ignore the attack all together
IMO this alternative version of the boss is easier than the normal boss.
All the lasers, random green orbs and dark attack in the other one were just awful
Override Pin Sha'Hala IS "easier". But that doesn't mean this isn't impressive!
The floating orbs, orbs coming up from under the ground, 2 large hands and the gravity ball - Along with the ENTIRE stage being black ARE indeed "awful"! Lol

Bullshit. Physical shahala is possibly the hardest boss in the game on apoc. Spectral is only harder when you are still a novice.
I just died 50 times to this guy earlier. Me and my brothers finally beat it. Then I see this.😭 bravo.
The purple orb attacks and the attacks where he puts a laser that sweeps the floor are terrifying. So is his DM at the end. This fight is brutal compared to Tal Ratha.
Shahala and graveward(borderlands 3) have similar boss arena details (one platform with the boss hovering around the front, mostly frontal attacks, attacks are mostly telegraphed)

I really like the Huntmaster M1 rifle. It’s my favorite weapon in the game. Sadly, there are a lot of other stronger weapons. 😕

I just played this boss with someone online last night, I had a different version and couldn't keep track of what the hell was going on. I gave up after the 4th death because I was just getting revived over and over after being one hit by things I wasn't even seeing. Taking less damage solo, but still get caught off guard by the hands coming through the floor and the gravity orb popping up and pulling you into it.
Man we tried to do it 15 times and we’re not even half way 😅 I admire you and hate you at the same time 😂❤

Why does this fight cut off right after and just take you back to Ward 13? Just happened to me, I have no idea what happened after the fight or anything. So weird
I are you activating your weapon mod as its coming off its cooldown like that? around 1:13 the fire effect of the gun is about to wear off, and the second it does you have it back ready to hit again? how is that possible
Pre-patch rings like Stone of Malevolence could recharge an active mod. Now only Feedback can otherwise you're locked out from gaining mod power until it is over.
There 2 versions of this boss one where you used Overide pin and get Long Gun as reward or use console and get katana as reward
You know this shits second nature when my man's pops a loot box when there's ammo on the floor.

There are alternate fights for many bosses. He put the pin in the console before starting this fight, if you just press the console you get the green guy. There are different drops too. Some bosses have only one version but different kill conditions that drop different items even
is the boss fight different for everyone? I fought him where green hands came out of the ground and this version doesn't have anything like that
There's different version of these main bosses. In this one, if you use an item called "override pin" instead of just interacting with the terminal, you get this fight instead of the normal one. You also get different rewards based on the way you did the fight

Don't feel bad it takes these youtubers. A lot of attempts to get this video accurate remember they don't get it first try
Does anyone know how to stop his chest beam? I’ll pack on alot of damage and he’ll still keep beaming until the edge where i run out of room?
Pretty sure it's purely damage based and need to keep damaging it until it breaks
GG. I think this vanilla boss fight is too random to no hit (he says as you no hit it no bother). This alternate fight looks way cooler but more manageable.

See i wasn’t paying attention and got this boss because I was talking to friends while doing this. Didn’t intend to use the pin but I got a nice weapon out of it
If you don't kill him before he fully ramps up that disco-type attack where the number of lasers gradually increases... lol good luck. That's where I die like 99% of the time to this guy.
This the friendlier version ? I had purple lasers massive hands infinet number of green crystals RNG number of giant hands each time different attack patterns each time even with the same attacks …. I couldn’t tell what the f was coming even 12 tries deep, there was only a solid two loops I could count on happening 😂😂

It's faster and you don't run risk of dodging into a folliwing attack

Total level of all your classes is 80 or above and you must be on apocalypse difficulty

Build?
I’m so curious why you run alchemist. I know hunter gunslinger is the boring because it’s the best but I feel like alchemist is doing little for you here.
If I had to guess, it's for the self buffing capability, like the triple concoctions and stuff.
Alchemist gives +damage too everything, so your guns and mods are doing more damage.
Like someone else said its their 1st perk, that buffs damage by a large number.
is this game better than destiny 2 or diablo 4
not comparable tbh, this is closer to any souls-like game. the loot isn't based on a lot of rng like destiny or diablo, its fairly easy to target and get what you need. there is zero pvp, unless u consider killing u teammates as pvp. gunplay, though very satisfying, it is still in third person and the gunplay isn't as good as destiny 2, personally.
most improtantly this game doesn't have the content, even including planned to go the longevity that destiny has, and diablo has been planned for.

Either boss fights end with N'Erud inaccessible in the end. The normal one gives you 12 hours after meeting the Custodian before that happens, while the alt kill makes N'Erud inaccessible immediately. For normal, after 12 hours pass, you can access Alepsis Taura.
