It would be cool if an energy drink company made a Reed Timmer edition of their drinks just for him, with a pic of a tornado behind him on the can. There could be multiple variations of it too: the 32 oz violent wedge, the 16 oz strong version, and the 16 0z sugar free version, which could be called the F0 for some reason.

exactly. People don't get why he yells and gets all excited sometimes, thats why. He's doing so much at once, that yelling directions just happens. He probably doesn't even mean to.

Bro, watching these guys getting so excited about weather is so refreshing. They’re so passionate about what they’re doing, and I honestly feel so reassured that we have groups like this who help further science and all of that. I’m a poosi when it comes to natural disasters, so I would never be able to do anything remotely like this.

Having grown up in SC and being in 2 Tornadoes as a child I know the fear and terror knowing one is right over you and you live in a mobile home I will never forget that those awful times, I have much respect for the boys who are able to get info to people quickly which wasn't as available when I was a kid. May anyone who has lost their lives doing the chasing RIP. I feel for their families 😢 💯✌♥️

Tornado spotters have a consistent problem underestimating the distance to the storm. 500 yards becomes 50, 1/4 mile becomes 100 yards. They should have a sniper with them to help them out estimating. Other than that, this is a great series. What happened in the HOA busybody situation?

I'm just laying in bed wishing I had the motivation to get up and mow my lawn and now I'm up. You guys are so intense that I stress out lol
I have been obsessed with extreme weather my entire life and there is something about this channel that really sparks that. Honestly, one of my favorite parts of the entire video is in the morning, everyone is talking, knowing of the opportunities they will get that day, and really supporting that buildup.

Been rewatching this series recently. Really amazing to me seeing how far everything has come with intercept vehicles and the push for data, not for publicity but for knowledge and safety. Never stop what you're doing, maybe one day I can meet you and the dominators in person. Being in TN we dont see many tornados here but I have used the knowledge and data you have showed off in all these years to watch storms and keep my family and friends safe.

Closest I’ve ever been to a tornado was a dust devil. It was the biggest one my grandpa had ever seen and five yr me was stuck right in the middle of it. It was scary for a 5yr but fun 😂

I've always loved storms. I live in Baltimore so there's not many tornados at ALL theres only been 1 in many years. but every storm I've sat outside on the balcony watching them. and I'm only 12😂 I love watching these types of videos 👍

Fun Tornado Fact: If it looks like it's not moving and it's getting bigger..
*It's coming right towards you.*
You may be thinking it stops, but actually, no. Its not because it stopped moving, as, because of the way they form and their windspeed, they don't stop. Scientifically, let me put this in a way you'll understand, Tornadoes basically go their own way, and they never stop for a cup of coffee or some of Mom's famous cookies, no, they just want to get home after a long day of work.
Tornadoes can last from 1 minute to 1 year. It depends on the tornado, the windspeed, the overall heat, and the humidity of the area. Tornadoes form by wind speeds being up to 40 MPH (enough to push you off of your bike) and heat coming from the Earth's core to the surface, as well as cold air coming from the atmosphere to the floor. They meet and push and push together as if nothing's happening, and they mix with the wind, and form a *funnel.* (1) A funnel is what we saw in the beginning, and it doesn't touch the floor when forming. Actually, it picks up the dirt and *debris* (2) from the floor. Then the funnel spins, and the dirt makes it look like the funnel touched the floor. When the windspeeds actually pick up to about 60-70MPH the funnel reaches the ground.
(1) *FUNNEL* = The top of a tornado while forming.
(2) *DEBRIS* = Excess of natural things such as trees or grass.
