First time listening

Best hair in music:
1. Robert Plant
2. Elvis
3. Barry Gibb!
I'm 72 yrs old, and what you need to do is go back in time to really understand music. The Bee Gees had so much talent that it was coming out of their ears. They were the best group band alive .❤️
Again poor boys who made it!!!! Soar with the angels Andy, Mo and Robin!!!!❤
Notice how long Barry can hold those notes.....amazing. As far as the clothes.....welcome to the '70s.
It’s interesting hearing three guys singing in falsetto combined with complete manly swagger. Don’t often see that.
More Bee Gees? Of course, they're my favorite group: "Words", "You should be dancing ", "One", "New York mining disaster 1941", "To love somebody ", "I've Gotta get a message to you ", "I started a joke ", "Lonely days ", "How can you mend a broken heart ", "Run to me", "Jive talkin", "Nights on Broadway", "Love so right ", "If I can't have you ", "How deep is your love ", "Night fever:, "More than a woman ", "Tragedy ", "Love you inside out ", "You win again ", "Secret love", "Alone", "This is where I came in ", "Spicks and specks ", "Paying the price of love", "Kiss of life ", "Sacred trust", "Man in the middle ". There are tons more as they started in the late 50s and stopped as a group when Maurice died in 2003.
Mo at about 5:40 gets me every time. 😅 R.I.P. Mo and Robin.
I never noticed that, after all these years, thank you!!! I always had this feeling MO was the funny one 😄
@@sandyleewhite You're welcome!
Honey those disco dancers back in the day were amazing to watch...they way they dressed...the way they moved..damn good time to be alive😊
You talking about the clean look and the tight pants... Thats the 70's in a nutshell. A different era.
“the pants tight asl idk how they can breathe in them boys” this a banger video 😂😂
😅😅 I remember I couldn't...
When I had Stage 3 inoperable throat cancer, my son bought me a cell phone & had this song as my ringtone!!
There was no auto-tune back then...the Bee Gees sounded the same live as they did in the studio. Three musical geniuses. Could you please react to "Alone" and "To Love Somebody"? Both fantastic songs by the Bee Gees.
Robin said: "The subject matter of 'Stayin' Alive' is actually quite a serious one; It's about survival in the streets of New York, and the lyrics actually say that".
Barry Gibb added: "People crying out for help. Desperate songs. Those are the ones that become giants. The minute you capture that on record, it's gold. 'Stayin' Alive' is the epitome of that.
"Everybody struggles against the world, fighting all the bullshit and things that can drag you down. And it really is a victory just to survive. But when you climb back on top and win bigger than ever before, well that's something everybody reacts to everybody".
You should try "I Just Want To Be Your Everything" by Andy Gibb 1977, the 4th Gibb brother
Shon,.ewomen love them tight pants 😜😜. Congratulations on 4,000 👍🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶
Everybody knows the Song Staying Alive. But not everybody knows its a Song from the Bee Gees. I love the Bee Gees. They had so many Songs. And every Song is a surprice. 🕺🥰👍
Barry Gibbs has the best falsetto I have ever heard. I love this song so very much! Love your reaction!
Rollerskated to this music at the Disco Rink Ramiumptums when I was 18. 😅 I'm 62.
I'm loving how you are getting so into the music of my generation. I'm sorry, but we had the best of the best with a wide diversity of vocals and topics and instrumentation. Now, most everything is sampled from old songs, not respectful of women, auto-tuned ( so no one has to have a great voice) and electronically contrived. Rap and hip hop have taken over and there isn't much else. There aren't great new bands bringing new sounds/music. But this is just my opinion, so it delights me to see young people discovering great music from the past and adding it to their playlists.
You really should go down the rabbit holes of Elvis, The Righteous Bros., Stevie Wonder, The Temptations, 4 Tops, O'Jays, K.C. And The Sunshine Band, The Supremes, The Shirelles, The Platters, and crooners like Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Andy Williams , Sammy Davis Jr. , Aretha Franklin and Whitney Houston......and so many more.
Spent many wonderful hours on the disco dance floor from 1977 until it‘s demise. But then I spent several years in Europe where disco was „Stayin Alive“ in the 80‘s and as late as 93. The movie „Saturday Night Fever“ really helped disco go nation wide. And now there’s only one `Bee Gee“ left…Barry. RIP Robin and Maurice
This song will be a hit forever! Don’t spill
You have to remember that the lyrics of this song were written for a character in a movie. It's literally the opening credits and walk of John Travolta as Tony Minero in "Saturday Night Fever", it was also the biggest selling soundtrack ever until the release of " The Bodyguard" with the incomparable Whitney Houston.

This tune was 1 of 6 #1's in arow from late 1977 to early 1979.
bee gees living together
Regardless of my day, every time I listen to them it just brings me joy.
Knew you’d probably heard it just didn’t connect it with the BeeGees lol. Awesome song. Listen to Fanny Be Tender With My Heart and Tragedy and Jive Talking 😊
Great reactions! Since this is a Bee Gees reaction and you asked for more suggestions, I'm going to suggest some Bee Gees songs since many below are suggesting other artists. If you haven't already, try: "You Should Be Dancin'", "Jive Talkin'", "Tragedy", "More Than A Woman", "Alone", "For Whom The Bell Tolls", "Fanny Be Tender", just to name a few. Pretty much any Bee Gees songs will be great! They just don't have any bad ones! So try any of them, recommended or not!
Congratulations! 🎉🎉 Now you can dress up, go to a disco and dance to the BeeGees. 🕺Oh wait, we're in 2023...
I love your reactions. You make me smile.
There’s a disco near me and it’s so fun! The dancing floor is packed with energy, people in their 20’s, people in their 70’s and everything in between, friends, family, you name it. A great time!!
This song has got to be the coolest song ever written and performed!
the confident, winner walk of the Gibb bros is everything
Andy Gibb was my favorite of the brother's Gibb he was very talented in his own right no one can take anything from Andy i had a huge crush on him hell i still do. Awesome reaction. love to you and your family from the one and only Memphis Tn.
You should also know they wrote their own songs and when their disco music took over the airwaves, a lot of female singers had big hits with BG songs. (Yvonne Elliman and Barbra Streisand come to mind). Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton had the biggest song of 1983 with Islands in the Stream, written by Barry Gibb (maybe with his brothers. The Bee Gees had big hits in the late 1960"s with songs like How Can You Mend a Broken Heart and another soulful song called To Love Somebody.
How can u mend a broken heart is a GREAT one by them. Also, Run to me by them. Love ur reactions! 💞🙌
👍 10,000 let’s go!
If you haven't done "Fanny (be tender with my love)", it should definitely be one of your next Bee Gees reactions. It's vocal🔥
Here's a deeper Bee Gees cut to look for : "Search, Find". From a great album all around.
Legendary band!
Staying Alive was the sequel to Saturday Night Fever and was directed by Stallone.
I got to see them do this live back in 1978! Great concert.
The Bee Gees play all the instruments in their songs.. Bra You Get It.
Check out Too Much Heaven. The Munich Philharmonic Orchestra accompanied them. Barry played rhythm guitar, Maurice played a variety of instruments, mostly keyboard and bass guitar, Robin did not usually play an instrument. Other musicians played percussion and other instruments.
lol..

Congrats on your 4K. Great reactions, especially your Bee Gees reactions. They've got you hooked, too. ♨️♨️♨️
John Travolta on that dance floor!
Love you brother, my wonderful heavenly Blue, you keep being you❤
This did have to do with the John travolta dance movie Saturday night fever. But right before this the macho male sports attending arenas had stopped playing disco for the winning hit, punt,, or whatever because the macho males booed when they did. Disco (Donna Summers, queen of disco) disappeared from the radio, the arenas and everywhere and The Bee Gees were black listed with disco. But they never let it stop them. They created this song and the soundtrack for the movie and it was I believe where the word blockbuster came from. People lined around the blocks to see the movie over and over again. I think the album sold 25 million and in one fell swoop brought disco back. You loving The Bee Gees prove that music is not a gender. It is a joy to see you react to The Bee Gees again 20 or so years later and for disco to come back again. All three of The Bee Gees were composers, producers, musicians and had their own sound individually as well as as brothers close harmonizes. They also did it all without being able to read music. They were studio musicians who had ways of writing music by ear.
I was in High school when it came out. They'd easily have at least 3 songs any given week on the radio. The 70's were the best. Everyone was listening to music and getting high.
This song is timeless. It's sampled in EVERYTHING!
👋🥰Been kicked around since I was born whether you’re a brother or whether you’re a mother you’re staying alive ah ha ha ha staying alive♥️👍

Congrats on getting to 4,000 subs. You’re a great reactor so your channel will definitely keep growing. 😊😊😊😊
Glad you found your passion, bless you
Hey Shon, I am the same way...when a song is new I fall in love with it, but if it's being constantly played I will fall out of love with it for a while. 😊 But eventually I find my way back... because it's just too good to stay away from. I wonder if you'd be interested in listening to some beautiful soft rock with heavenly harmonies 🎶 "Tin Man (Live) America" get your dancing shoes on, and beprepared to boogie down 🕺💃🎸 lovely reaction thanks for sharing👍🎶
From the mean streets of Sydney, Jimmy Fallon did a great skit on SNL called the Barry Gibb talk show
This is the best rhythm for lifesaving CPR chest compression to keep the heart going.
Definitely congratulations on your 4K Shon from a new sub. Your spark and just fabulous reactions is all worth it. Let's make it fast to 5 then 10K...🎤🎶🇨🇦
Congratulations on breaking 4000 hun! You’re a joy to watch especially bringing back the great music from 70’s & on! A lot of fun memories
That was their disco song! John Travolta danced to it;
They had a younger brother Andy that died in 1988 from myocarditis he was the lad singer❤
Andy mostly had a solo career, just joined them occasionally on their Spirits Having Flown tour. He was quite a bit younger than the other brothers.
Lovin your reactions. Check out Barry Gibb and Barbara Streisand duet Guilty, the audio version.
The beat to this song was matched to Barry's heartbeat. (White pants, blue shirt) His heartbeat is 103 per minute and when doing CPR it requires 100 chest compressions per minute. You actually save a life to the beat of this song.
Listen to any Bee Gee song and you will be wowed
The fabulous Bee Gees much loved ALWAYS 😘❣️
Check out Stranger by Dimash 👍
Like your reactions. 🇨🇦👋😁🔥🔥🔥🥇🌟💖

👋🇨🇦 you look like you're having a blast and congratulations I discovered your reaction Channel a few days ago and I think you're awesome you have such a great presence. Barry the older one is the one that has the very high voice and the other two are fraternal twins his brothers they actually had one more brother Andy Gibb who died in the 80s and I believe this song is from the 70s during the disco craze
Just stumbled across your channel yesterday, and saw that you had previously reacted to Elvis Presley. Well, I love Elvis so I clicked on a few of em. I really enjoyed your reactions, so I subscribed. I'm looking forward to go on your music jwith you. ❤🎶

You would like ALONE....Don't throw it all away......and For Whom The Bell Tolls....to start with. There are NO BAD SONGS.
CPR class teaches to press down to the beat of this song. Crazy, but important!!
Have a listen to the BeeGees New York Mining Disaster 1941 song. They started in Australia in the mid sixties. all their music from the 60s on his fantastic.
This song is about surviving in ny in the 70s
Shon when you start chair dancing you make me wanna dance with you. I ain't gonna lie...but this song ALWAYS makes me dane anyway.
So You Should Be Dancin' for more boogie. But also I Startef A Joke LIVE (any live version will impress you). Robins voice gonna hit you right in the feels
That's the seventies style... Lol
At one time “stayin’ alive” was used to remind people of the rhythm for performing CPR but is considered a bit apropos if you hum the tune if you actually have to perform CPR 😂🙄
I dig your energy!
Check the group Sweet. Fox on the run, love is like oxygen, ballroom blitz, block buster, fever of love, they were the 60's and 70's they were great
