Those dogs just about train themselves. Ours is 4 months and we brought her hom at 3. She was 99% house-trained in NINE days. Only 2 "accidents" since then. Sleeps all night without a yelp. Taught her to not bark in three days. They are gorgeous, soft, and loyal and gentle. Believe it or not, we got our "Trixie" for only $100. The owner had to go away to school and needed a home quickly. She's already 30 pounds and eats like a horse.
I teared up when I saw her reaction. Such a lucky girl to have a cute, chubby Berner puppy. I wish to have one, but residential conditions are not permitting. :(
This reminds me of my 15 th birthday when I received my puppy 'sequoia' after being there for her since she was born. I was the first person she saw when she was opening her eyes, and my little baby fell asleep in my lap. Then my parent told me someone bought her, and I was heart broken, but knew she was with a happy family. Once my b-day rolled around my mom handed me a collar and said happy b-day as my friend brought out my little girl, i love her so much and i cried so hard that day.
I LOVE THIS, she is so genuinely happy about getting a dog. some people just over react because theyre on camera. THAT DOG IS THE MOST CUTEST BERENSE MOUNTAIN DOG EVER.

My wife and I met a Bernese Mountain Dog who belonged to a couple while we were vacationing at a KOA in Lake Tahoe. She was big, strong, and sweet as could be. Someday, God-willing, we'll have one of our own. What wonderful dogs they are! (I think we'd get a male Bernese, though. We'd name it Perry, after "Refrigerator" Perry of the Chicago Bears...you know, because he'd be big, strong, and sweet as could be.)

I had a Golden for 14 years, we called her Sammie but her full name was Sammie Joe, but only called her by her full name if she had done something wrong, where she would proceed to act all guilty. Your Bernese is a beautiful dog! :)

Il n'était pas joueur. Alors, j'espère que tu as d'aussi beaux souvenir que moi. Je l'ai beaucoup pleuré et encore aujourd'hui. Je suis incapable de le remplacer.

I'm 26, and if someone gave me one of those for Christmas like that, I'd have the exact same reaction as her

Gentle giants, angels on 4 legs....We had such Bernese for 9 years.Our Astra was 100 pounds of selfless love....🐾💜
