Currently, my favourites are "Traveler" and "Waiting 4 U" from BTOB 4 U
BtoB unit, BtoB Blue which is consist of Eunkwang, Changsub (the other singer in this video), Hyunsik, Seungjae, cover of Cold, To My Love, and Under The Sky. For their original song, I love almost all of them, some of them are, Missing You, NaNaNa, Dream, Drawing, Someday, Dreamer, Traveler, and many more. If you have time, please check them out 🙏
Changbin's cry at the end: "Guys, THIS IS OUR SONG!" is _such_ a mood. As he said to Hongjoong when they were writing Playing with Paint, "I just love sharing music", and you can just tell how excited he is to see his seniors performing one of their compositions - and having such fun with it! 😁
The behind-the-scenes of the Mayfly (BTOB, Ateez and Stray Kids) performances are really enlightening; many of the members didn't know each other well, if at all, and you see them forming three incredibly close groups between them (you'll adore Bang Chan bonding with his new hyung Minhyuk (the blond rapper here), and Peniel (the other rapper) teasing his juniors into dropping their honorifics with him)...
And he actually suggested back door! Because of kingdom changbin became my bias!
A lot of them actually knew each other but not within units :') Like Peniel and Chan who know each others since Chan was 14, Changbin and Wooyoung who are literally besties, Felix + Wooyoung and San, Minho and Minhyuk... The Boyz and StrayKids are really good friends too because they debuted closely and already collaborated with each other etc !
But yeah, they created such a good bond during the mayfly unit I'm so glad ! Multis were served
"THIS MAN DOES NOT LIKE SHIRT" got me LOL hahahaha thank you for reacting to btob again. Yes, those guys were a legend already. I can't quite imagine how proud Stray Kids was that BTOB covered their song. And they nail this performance! One of the best so far, in all of Kingdom performances.
The other singer is LEE CHANGSUB. And he is an amazing singer, he was not feeling well during that time but he still was able to do a very great job. If you wish to hear more of BTOB as a group, you may check out Way Back Home, It's Okay, Remember That, Beautiful Pain and I'll Be Your Man (Stray Kids performed this song on Kingdom too).
If you want with more on harmonizing and complimenting each vocals, you may check BTOB blue, their vocal sub-unit. I strongly suggest that you check To My Love, Stand By Me, When It Rains and a lot more.

SKZ have called themselves Melody(BTOB fandom name) multiple times lol Han especially is a big fan and said Minhyuk(the guy who took his shirt off 😂) and another member who was not there are his favorite. Bang Chan and Peniel(rapper from Chicago) trained and lived together when at JYP. They were able to become really close again thanks to Kingdom 🥰

BTOB originally have 7 members, 1 member just left last Dec 2020. Only 4 joined Kingdom since the other 2 were in the military that time. They are vocally talented. You should definitely check more songs and live performances from them. They also have a vocal sub unit called BTOB BLUE. Love all their live performances especially their Immortal songs.

It is common for younger groups to cover songs fr older groups, but this was the other way around and that really means a lot to younger groups
I believe Bangchan's bias in BTOB is Changsub (the other vocalist). I watched him ramble about how he loves him, how excited he is with their new song and how his most favorite song of his is At The End during his live streams. After Kingdom he also talked about how he was so happy because he got to hug Changsub during the finale. He's such a cutie. He was also very giddy and acted like a happy kid when Minhyuk complimented him. He is also a long time friend of Peniel, the bald rapper. He's from Chicago and don't read the translation/lyric of his rap here. You might also be flustered. Haha
His rapping style is really westernized and he usually raps in English. He has a podcast called Get Real that is in English and he's a pretty cool guy.
Unfortunately, Changsub was not really always present in the competition because during this performance, he was really sick. He wasn't able to stay for the rest of the taping. He was supposed to be part of the Love Poem performance but he can't. I believe he was okay to practice that time but they decided not to so that he could rest and he was also preparing for his musicals. 1 ongoing and 1 pre-production. I feel like Changsub's voice changes depending on what the song wants or needs? For this , he ought for it to be husky but a lot of time his voice is so clear and breathy. Sorry I don't know the terms. His clear voice was present during the Missing You performance. He mixed them up with Beautiful pain. I think you'll see the difference when you watch more especially with BTOB BLUE in Immortal Songs. He's called a vocal gangster because he makes whatever song he sing his.
For Eunkwang, he's really powerful and he and Changsub mostly take the high pitch/register and the other two vocalists are baritones. He helped arrange Back Door. He's not just an idol but also a a Director in Cube Entertainment. He's a pretty big person but really2 humble.
Yes, Minhyuk hates shirts and when wears a button up shirt, 3 buttons should be unbuttoned. He was an underground rapper before he was in BTOB. Very talented artist and very talented producer. They also performed Blue Moon in the show which he produced. He sang there because he's also a vocalist. All of them are but Minhyuk just chose to be a rapper because the loves rap. Blue Moon is a jazzy song which I think is very unique when it come to kpop and idol songs. Actually all the songs they performed, except Back Door, are froduced by BTOB themselves. The rappers write their own lines so that's why they all have different styles in the song but they really manage to integrate them together.

BTOB is a well respected artist in the industry. And you're like the second reactor I've heard say how it is a great honour when a senior covers a junior's song.
The other vocalist is Lee Changsub.
He has one of the most unique and beautiful vocal tones in kpop industry. He was actually not feeling well during this performace. Some believed that they (changsub&eunkwang) were supposed to have a vocal break (just like in I'll be your Man) on this song (the part where they were facing each other and Eunkwang belts out the high notes) but were unable to perform it because he was not feeling well.

I belived that too (rumors vocal break) until see the bts video on BtoB CZcams channel and noticed they maked everything they planned.
Changsub is the member with husky and rich voice at the beginning. He's the lead vocal of the group. He was present in some of the stages as he was performing at Marie Antoinette musical too at that time when the show was aired.
Beautiful pain the the song they performed for the 100 seconds performance during the first round. One of the rappers (minhyuk- he has blonde hair in this performance) was a part of the vocal line and did some amazing high notes along with eunkwang. It definitely worth looking at even though it’s only 100 seconds but by far one of my favourites

That’s only 3/4 of the group and only half of the vocal line. The 2 vocals were in the military at that time. They are very talented and known for their live performances.Their vocal line ( BTOB-BLUE) is the best vocal sub-unit in the whole K-pop currently active( and K.R.Y-Super Junior, inactive) imo

Hi, Thanks for checking out BtoB. Btob and Mamamoo are called Male and female version of each other. They both are great friends. Btob has 4 vocalist (although all of them can sing), you should check out their performances of 'To My Love' of all 4 vocalist on immortal song. That performance highlights each member beautifully. I would also like to recommend Btob Luv (Vocal Battle of Btob)!!! The other Vocalist here other than Eunkwang i.e. Changsub was sick during this performance. And you're so right about Minhyuk not liking Shirts, have you seen his recent photoshoot, you can check it on his ig or Twitter. Peniel is from Chicago, he's fluent in English and yes his flow is so fun and good. There are 3 other members who didn't participated in kingdom. They're self made group, I hope you could check them out more in future~ And you also need to check out how they're when not on stage..... it's CHAOS.

Btob nickname in Korea actually is ballad-dol. They have a very strong vocal line consist of 4 members out of 6 (used to be 7 members). But surprisingly, their second nickname is beagle-dol because they also well-known as one of funniest kpop group, which makes them very unique because of their reversal charm. These 4 guys are called BTOB 4U and did well in Kingdom despite their age and lack in number. The other 3 members were in the military that time. But do please check out all of their amazing performances in Kingdom before you react to their other stuff. Their Kingdom perfs were unique and creative and had that distinct BTOB style. They started the 100 secs Intro Stage with BEAUTIFUL PAIN. Then the MISSING YOU theatre version. Then this BACK DOOR. Then the amazing BLUE MOON cinema version and their grand ending song FINALE:SHOW and PROVE. You'll love that they can do all kinds of concept and are very versatile. This performance killed me. Seeing Eunkwang with fake tattoos and dressed like a rocker, Minhyuk just existing…I died. Keep in mind two members aren’t on Kingdom with them because they were in the military. They are out now, and I recommend you check out older BTOB songs. To see more of their voices, I’d watch the 90second intro performance and the Show and Prove performance.
Beautiful pain for OT7, Alone for Btob 4u and Stand by Me by Btob Blue. As for the rappers, goodnight by Huta (Minhyuk) and She's gone by Ilhoon. These are favs. Great songs, great people.

There are 4 vocals in BTOB, and 3 rappers in this group. The other singer in that performance is Changsub. The other vocalists are Sungjae and Hyunsik, both are baritone. You can react to their MV as well. Can't wait for your next reactions~
It is quite rare to find someone who react genuinely to Peniel's rap, but here you are! Love it that you notice his distinct style (not to mention his buff as well haha). Originally, BTOB has 3 rappers, each with their own signature style. Minhyuk, the blond shirt-hater one, raps hard and sexy. Peniel is in charge of english rap and, like you said, brings more western feel to his rap. There were times where his rap went almost too melodious that he sounds like singing, but not exactly. I'd say his is a melodic rap. And the last rapper, the former member of BTOB, is Jung Ilhoon. Oh boy, he brought so much color to BTOB rap and also BTOB music because he composed several of their songs. His style is lazy rapping. You should listen to their song to understand what lazy rapping is all about. Dear Katriinka, you are on the right way of being a hard core Melody! Congratulations 😁

I'll Be Your Man is such a legendary BTOB song, SKZ has covered it on Kingdom too so it'd be super cool if you checked out both versions! All of BTOB's performances on Kingdom were amazing: Beautiful Pain, Missing You, Blue Moon, and Finale (Show and Prove). Their latest comeback was Outsider and it was so good, the whole album was actually!

Stray kids choose BtoB themselves for remake one of their songs. BtoB debuted in 2012 as a 7 members group, sadly the main rapper left the group at the end of 2020, the other two members was on military service during kingdom, by now all the 6 members have ended their militar service.

What I loved most about this was how each ones section is slightly different, and then they all go on stage together through the back door. But the BEST part was how excited and awed the Stray Kids members were.

If it’s not much of a hassle, can you please react to BTOB BLUE (vocal line sub-unit) performances through the years. I have no educational background on music but I can say that I have an ear of a musician since I come from a family of musicians, but still, I think you have a better ear than me 😅 So I would like to know how each vocalist’s voice changed over the years, how they changed their singing techniques, etc.

I'm looking forward to more Kingdom reactions. I love the full versions because the song is uninterrupted, but I also love seeing the other performers reactions. I.N. looked like he was going to die of happiness during BtoB's introductory performance and ATEEZ's Seonghwa was moved to tears during BtoB's performance of Missing You. Changsub (The other singer) was actually really sick that day like going thru a fever and stuff... he couldn´t even participate in the interviews for a few episodes but he still tried his best to perform. That´s why he sounds a little more husky than usual! He is actually known for his angelic and UNIQUE AF tone and therefore almost always starts out their songs! You should react to their "Finale: Show and Prove" performance on Kingdom! He is healthy there and kills everyone with his lower register and falsetto LOL
MInhyuk (guy who hates his shirts 😂) is just rude LOL alwys walking around shirtless while spitting some fire causing Melodys to die internally and externally simultaneously.... Did I mention that he is rude 😂 But he is actually the most sweet an caring for the fans. never turns back a request and communicates a looot with Melodies. Sweetest of all!
Peniel (the other buff rapper) is actually American! so yeah he is influenced by western music a lot! He has a unique tone even as a rapper and it just sounds sooo good! He is very caring and loves (and is loved by) his members a lot, always taking care of little things for them! Probably the most chill member cause... he a robot LOL! But sometimes... he just... turns weird as well... like all of them!
