Finally someone that realises how Han’s tone and technique shows in his talking.. I genuinely not surprised when I see him hit high note.. I mean, his talking voice is very high
Absolutely I agree.
I understood the moment Han spoke. Her voice was thinner than a man's, and I was sure when I saw her singing voice. I thought it would be easy for him to hit the high notes.
His animated talking voice is on the higher side, but if you hear his relaxed voice, it's quite low in comparison. It definitely shows that he has a wide vocal range!
@@Hannibaru. yess his original talking voice is so low compared to his loud voice . You can hear it in his vlogs or when he normally talks. That's why he is also good with lower Register vocals ☺️
I wasnt shocked by his high singing voice I was shocked that he had so much control. A lot of rappers neglect singing but him knowing how to use his voice i was not expecting it at all (although I knew he could sing very well b4 this bc i watched their tv show so)
I love that you are not only talking about the vocal aspect of them but also their personalities. Your observation for Chan was so accurate. Same with the difference between Han and Seungmin. But during Mayfly's stage for Love Poem, Seungmin was soooo nervous he stuffed himself inside a locker haha.
True, Seungmin was really nervous (him hiding in the locker was really cute xD) and I love how the other members believed in him ("I'm sorry but you were the only one who was worried" xD)
But you couldn’t blame him for that. If he had to perform with his own team he would have been much better. I wouldn’t saw Jongho because they are literally the same age, but performing with eunkwang would be nerve wrecking for anyone. I know that a lot of stays wouldn’t like it but you have to admit that performing with someone with ten years worth of more skill and experience is really hard. And they both did such a great job.
@@sunflower590 Yeah and Jongho is one of the best young vocals in kpop too. The presure must have been enormous.
With you praising Seungmin, I remembered how many nights in a row he’d send us messages that he’s going to practice at 12-1 a.m. Chan is the one person who stays up in the studio very late from what they tell us, but in his words, even Seungmin beat him, especially while Kingdom was going on. He’d come home super early in the morning from practicing. He worked his ass off, just like you said. He had to become a main vocalist so suddenly back in 2019, with no warning and he’s doing a damn good job. Always proud 🤍

The information you are able to ascertain from watching them work in the studio to the performance itself is just validation to us all. I'm not even surprised, this song is sooo hard but so worth it. I liked their take, it was an interesting version of I'll be your man. Also, loved how BTOB tried to made it more funny for them later so they relax more, Peniel even stole the phone with their version and started to run because it was so good 😂
When you said han is great as a rock singer, actually his dad used to be in a rock band and han said he resembles his dad a lot because both of them have many talents😊 Another informative and fun reaction, love that you considered reacting to Han recording, waiting for the reaction of the performance😍

you would be surprised how much confidence seungmin gained during kingdom, with stray kids being heavily focused on rap especially in the past, he could finally shine and as you have seen he is killing it

20:02 as far as I know Han LOVES rock music so I have hope that he'll do more music in that style in the future. not only voice, his a bit emo personality are suitable for that genre imho
20:18 it's interesting how Jisung usually uses this 'broadcasting' high tone when he's on some tv show or is hype, but his 'normal' tone is lower and softer 😅
Han is crazy crazy talented, if you check out his produced solo songs, all of those songs are all in female key and full of high notes, example is close, alien and wish you back. Even him, when he sang it live he, himself, is having a hard time singing his own song because of how high it is lol.

It’s known that Han’s dad was a former rock band member. He teach Han to learn guitar and write his own song when Han was a kid!

also yes jisung would suit rock so well!! his dad was actually in a rock band and i think he gets a lot of influence from that.
Seungmin worked so hard while in kingdom, he would practice singing for so many hours everyday! He even let us in once and went on vlive where he sang for over 4 hours till midnight. All skz worked so hard for kingdom, chan, 3racha, danceracha and vocalracha. Thank you for appreciating them~ they sing a lot in vlive, skztalkers and their vlogs, i hope stays can make a compilation of them singing casually it's really good haha
Finally someone voice out what I had in mind about IN. IN has actually a great singing tone & range.. I see him sing on that trot competition & he looked so comfortable & although nervous he sounded confident and was sure of what he's doing. In terms of dancing IN is also very good too.. I think we can line him up next to dancer racha..
But what I notice is that, he usually focuses on techniques and not to mess up that sometimes he forgets to enjoy himself on stage. One could execute a perfect technique on performance but without channelling emotions on those movements may it be singing or dancing.. Eventually, it will reflect on stage. Sometimes he's occupied on following and can't input his own color on their performances. .
If IN would be able to open that door and find his own color, realized how to incorporate his own techniques & emotions on his performances.. He'll such a great performer in all aspect.
You should definately react to the original by BTOB too it is soooooo good it's one of my favourites from them
Please react to a BTOB "I'll be your man" live performance, there are many, before the MV, to be honest the MV is distracting from their live voices and harmonization .. don't worry, live sounds just like a studio recording 😅
Btw, BTOB is an acronym for "Born to Beat", therefore is pronounced Bee-2-bee 😊

If you’re talking about the recent clip of him singing karaoke in their dorm, ABSOLUTELY , although I think it might be too short to analyze on its own. She could definitely combine that with maybe a compilation of them singing acapella/outside the studio

That note was so hard, Han lost his voice practicing that part, you can see it on the behind episode, his voice started to sound really raspy like a rock singer. Thanks for reacting, can't wait for part 2 ❤
Yesss, we love our Hannie! He can be so happy, loud and achieve such high notes, but he used to be a bit uncomfortable of his own voice. I'm glad he's feeling better about it, because it's beautiful.
As a melody, SKZ version of this song is approved! I never thought they could do this perfectly, They're soo good! (I've become a fan of them actually bec. of Mayfly, also with Ateez😍)

What's so incredible with Han is that he has no vocal training because he's not the main vocal, Seungmin is and so the vocal line (I.N and Seungmin) have vocal classes/lessons daily. I know that that isn't Han's focus but i wish he would take some lessons too at least once a weak so that the thought of doing high notes whenever called upon won't be so daunting or challenging for him, you know? He's already incredible without the techniques of singing and stuff, imagine him with all that.
Thank you for praising Seungmin. He really worked hard on his singing even with a busy schedule. I really love his voice.
8:24 The thing is, when this aired we haven't really heard Seungmin sing like that. There was one award show performance in January 2021 that kind of introduced that Seungmin to us. Then in Kingdom he blew everyone away and in the releases since he's been flexing his vocals more and more.
Han actually doesn't have a vocal coach and doesn't take vocal lessons! He's all self-taught
Bangchan is not just a Leader mode here he is also in a producer mode. I don't know if you already know that the 3 members of SKZ 3racha(bangchan, changbin, Han) is the producer of their songs..
Stray kids are gutsy to get this song. This is one if not the hardest BTOB song. The rap and vocals has to be A+ to execute this. Good job Stray Kids
Just found BTOB, and their song I'll Be Your Man was incredible. SKZ did an incredible job remixing their song. This clip shows how creative SKZ is while producing songs. loved the MV, so I am anxiously waiting for part 2 reaction.
During this same TV Show, Kingdom ep. 8, StrayKids did a mashup of their song, Gods Menu and BlackPink Ddududdudu, "Gods Ddu du ddu du", it was Mnet #1 viewed MV in 2021 with 18+M views.
Then that same episode IKON did a remix of BlackPink Pretty Savage, "Classy Savage" which was Mnet #2 viewed MV in 2021 with 18+M views also, both these songs were incredibly performed and a must watch.

i felt so proud of them for their cover. I.N was way too hard on himself with this. Not only was he struggling with the recording but he also was super nervous to do all this on stage. Then he criticised himself too hard for making a mistake (that didn't even seem like a mistake to me). Like I was super proud of all them trying something this hard. Thank you for going into more detail about this ^_^ if possible, can you react to them doing the actual cover on kingdom? I know that the copyright for the show is super hard to get by, so I understand if its not possible.

seungmin really works hard on singing, he once made a live of 4 hours while practising, and on days off he never misses practice, he's so passionate about it

Maybe Chan has all that monitors abilities because he has the longest training period, he was a trainee for 7 years before debuts, (from 2010 to 2017) then since 2017 official idol and leader.

This presentation made me totally fall in love with Han and Stray Kids since I never gave them an oportunity because I had that horrible misconception of them not having music where rap wasn't as prominent and since I've always been inclined to singing rather than dancing, visuals or rapping, I was amazed by the fact that a rapper had that level of vocals.
I love your videos and your opinions since I feel that even though I don't know a lot about singing I really feel like I can understand everything you say, you've quickly became one of my favorite reactors. Love your videos and keep up with the hard work, love you from Mexico 🥰

When you were talking about the more air directing from Chan, it made me remember how jyp (their company) is know to teach this half-air singing style and made me smile because chan has that engauned in his brain probably
This song is so damn hard that even BtoB didn't want to perform it in Kingdom. (Granted, two of their vocalists were still in the military and I think they both do some of the higher sustained singing not just the adlibs) Minhyuk even flat out said that if they were doing it, that he wasn't going to sing (implying that he was only going to do the rap portions since he's one of the main rappers.) and tbh - I thought that IN's crack was intentional to showcase the emotion and desperation and I didn't even realize that it wasn't until I saw the full episode.
Sorry I would like to add some points. It’s also hard because 3 vocals are needed for the harmony and 2 rappers for the rap in the last verse, but BTOB only had 2 vocals and 2 rappers that time, which makes it infeasible to perform the song. Btw skz did do a great job of it and i love their cover!!
@@kel7321 I'm still shocked that Changbin did that entire rap section under the vocal harmony by himself. Even taking into consideration that he had to take a breath in there somewhere that's still a pretty impressive feat since like you pointed out the BtoB version has 3 harmony vocals and 2 rappers. I'd still be thinking about how to distill all of that into 3 people by the time the episode aired never mind them blasting through it to record it, practice it, and perform it.

@@kel7321 I think that was kind of the good side of Kingdom (aside from Mayfly) - it let these groups challenge themselves and let them perform things that they wouldn't normally do. And win or lose or perfect or mistakes, it's something that they all learned something from and let them really test their limits. (and I mean for all the groups not just skz)

It goes more into their prep and practicing which showed such an interesting side to Han and Seungmin as they practice. Even if you don’t film a reaction it’s worth a watch! Han also talks about his Vocal Nodules and how it’s affecting him singing.
