Grand son like you is all what grand parents need or older people need 💓 i know its not our fault but still with the kind of busy schedule we are living in these days we Just take care of there health and comfort living but not really sit with them and chat and ask how they feel every day... All they need is someone to talk to and tell all kinds of random talks and listen to us... Not really our fault but yes this is what it is!! At this age they feel really lonely no matter how rich or poor they are .....at this point of their age the best kind of gift you can give to them is gathering all happy people who love to talk to them and spend some genuine time with them... For what shayan has done are some real goals to all the youngsters out there to spend some quality time with Grand parents and bring smiles on there faces.. This reduces stress for both and eventually increase the chances of long life 💓more love and power to you shayan and Buzzfeed India 💝💝great job

When I see your grandma... The first thing is I get emtional bec my grandmother passed away long time back and I miss her badly... I miss Teasing her, she was from a small village, scaring her with noodles as she thought that was some kinda worm i eat ...she always used to make Bengali Kheer whenever I used to visit her but I never really cared or gave importance to her love... Now is she no more there, so there is no one to make that Kheer ...i wish I could hv realised that before... you are good grandson take care for her... Nd lots of love to ur thakuma Nd every grandmom.😞.

Nawal Bashir : I understand your point... but then the next question is which language do they speak coz there are 22 official languages in India excluding English. Shayan, for example, speaks Bengali (that's his mother tongue and 1 of the official languages). Many people do not understand languages other than their mother tongue and English. In short English is understood by majority of the Indians hence I guess why they decided to use English. :)
Blessy Erika i understand your point as well but Bollywood uses one language that most majority Indians enjoy too. They could use that language for instance.
Nawal Bashir : Bollywood is 1 film industry in India that is accepted internationally (they speak Hindi in their films). There are bigger film industries in India which are not known internationally. Example : Don't know if you've heard off Bahubali (a really famous movie in India) wasn't made in the Bollywood industry . It was made in Tollywood (Telugu language) and dubbed to 5 or 6 other languages to cater to a wider audience.
Another thing is movies and music bring people together. So, many people watch movies even though they don't understand the dialogues properly and just get an overall idea.
There are so many schools that dont teach Hindi at all coz in schools we usually learn 2 languages - English and an additional language which is usually the official language of that state. I'm lucky coz I learnt Hindi in my school although it is not my mother tongue only coz I did my schooling out of my state. So buzzfeed videos being made in Hindi makes no difference to me.
But I have so many friends who sit with me to watch Hindi movies (coz they love the actor) and ask me to translate for them.
Im speaking from their point of view ..thats all 😊😊
The majority of us can speak English, so it's just easier to create English content. Even the workers of BuzzFeed India must be from different places, and English is their common language, even more than Hindi.
Imperialism is bad. English imperialism is a mostly ugly thing... But, in retrospect, it gave Indians more of a common language than Hindi was.
The English were known to force their language on colonies. Irish and Scottish people speak primarily English and less Gaelic, these days.
Take the good and the bad. Many Indians understand English.
