- With so many amazing fighting games coming out in 2019 like Mortal Kombat 11 and Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid, I figured I wouldn't make the same mistakes this time around and give fighting games the fair chance they deserve!

I’m with you man. Fighting games are fun but get repetitive fast. Pair that with wanting to fall back on what we know... makes it hard to start up anew in the genre. Interested in your thoughts on the upcoming fighters. Want to take smash serious? Come fight in one of our live-streams!

I want to get back to fighting games too. Had so much fun when I was younger with them.

It's gonna be different this year... I swear! lol
At first I had to make sure I wasn't the one talking in this video, because that's how I was with fighting games. I played Smash melee, brawl, 3ds, and now ultimate because it was different than my usual line up; main-line mario game, mario racing game, some pokemon game. But with Smash being as awesome as it it, and with Mortal Kombat 11 being able to be released soon, this is gonna be the year that I get into Smash and finally not be a scaredy-cat and play some mortal kombat 11

I’m trying the same thing. Played melee pretty casually as a kid and haven’t really gotten into a fighting game since. It’s easier not to get discouraged when you’re playing single player games and the masters are all confined to videos on CZcams. A bit harder when they’re smacking you up on your own screen. I decided to challenge myself this year and bought ultimate and am going to give it an honest try. Best of luck to you, man! Maybe we’ll face off in EVO haha.

I used to play tekken Tag tournament 2 on ps3 few years back, and it was fun playing with the right ppl though! I gave it a try the tekken 7 on ps4, and must admit its not fun anymore! But i don’t wanna spoil any further, give it a try and have all the fun you can have
Well said dude. Fighting games have always kinda taken a back seat for me. I play them for a bit then quickly move on to the next game. The only fighting game I've ever spent the most time with was the Smash Bros games.
I enjoy what I play but have never really been any good at them. Except maybe Smash Bros anyway lol. The times I really enjoy playing fighting games is when there is someone else to play with. Which is what their made for honestly.
I hear ya... I pride myself in my abaility to grind through an RPG or develop the skills and timing needed for a platformer. For some reason, when it came to fighting games, I sold myself short.
2019 will change that and maybe we'll meet in a SMASH JT livestream one day?!
