I love how Nick spent 15 minutes making a convoluted plan for everyone to use Boos to steal a star from Brent, only to almost immediately abandon it to fuck up chance time.
It's even worse on stream because Nick didn't just abandon it, he straight up forgot what they plan was the turn after he made it. He straight up had to be reminded of his own plan not even ten minutes after making it.

What people call toxicity is, to my mind, the pairing of an incredibly quick wit and keen ability to make content. With Vern, I can't tell if he's salty or playing into it most of the time, but with Nick, he knows how to push peoples' buttons for a laugh. There's no malice. As someone who games with a guy who does the same thing, I appreciate it a lot.

Turns out, i went back and checked. If my calculations are correct, Brent won 11 minigames while Eevee won 10 minigames.
Brent winning Bowser's Big Blast secured the minigame star for Brent to win the game. Poor Sophist.

It's actually incredible how unlucky eevee is. Sometimes it feels like you guys just record 10 games in a row until a game where Eevee gets maximally unlucky is on the recording. After the first few turns, it felt like things were turning around, only for the bonus stars to both go to the only person who could beat him.
Yeah. It’s actually genuinely surprising how consistently he gets robbed in these. There are countless times in these sessions where he ends up losing every chance he has to win.
I am Eevee whenever I play Mario party.
This session in particular where Eevee really got unlucky and even Brent himself thought that he was supposed to win but it ended up becoming the usual.
1st time I’ve witnessed Brent snap and go for the non-optimal option
And it was for the smallest reason possible
I think the most consistently angry Brent has gotten is towards Vern. Mystery Land, this game, and their Russian Roulette stream

@@Endershock1678Mostly because, despite all his handwringing about being nice, Vern is easily the single most toxic player when he gives into petty bullshit. Like, Brent's major toxicity moments are all targeted brutality for revenge, Nick basically just seems in it for the small, gremlin types of evil he can do, and Sophist is just out here having fun by throwing monkey wrenches into everything, but I swear Vern just actively tries to cause people's downfall because he can. It's not enough that he wins, he has to enjoy someone else losing.
After that end, next gimmick idea should be Nick, Brent, and Vern trying to help Eevee win, but they all start with 5 stars while Eevee starts off with 0.

Eevee actually got more minigame coins than Brent, but because Superstars for some reason counts the amount of times you got first place instead of the amount of coins you got for the minigame bonus star, Brent got a star that even he agrees should have gone to Eevee. #JusticeForEevee

What makes it crazy. In the end, they checked the graph, and Eevee won on minigame coins, which is how they thought it played out for years, and only lost by 1 minigame. Brent literally won because of Bowser's Big Blast.
This literally changed how they interpret minigame star.
Finally, a no gimmick Mario party video. The one thing that doesn’t change is that Brent still gets teamed on for being the best

Eevee despairs the entire time and the bonus Stars push him over the cliff
Nick and Vernias are at each others throats for even a speck of dust
They take the "yell" in "yellow" too seriously
I remember Eevee once prophesizing a game where no one is happy at the end, and this is the one. Vernias is angry at Brent because he wins every game, Eevee is mad because Brent stole his rightfully deserved win, Nick is completely unsurprised\depressed and Brent is just dumbfounded at how he managed to get the Minigame star.
I feel so bad for Eevee, everything went perfect for him in the final turns, but Brent's luck maxed out at the exact time it needed to secure his W.
How are you guys still friends after all this? Man your bonds are more unbreakablr than my dog’s hunger!
