  • Live Vs Studio - Today’s video is about the similarities and differences between a live vs studio environment. This video was inspired by the restarting of live music in the UK after various lockdowns and restrictions. It really got me thinking about how over the past couple of years, I’ve been experiencing music differently, solely in a studio environment.
This video contains my own opinions, but I would love to know yours on the topic in the comments below. This video is aimed at beginner to intermediate engineers, producers and artists.

As a non-musician music fan, I usually prefer a live recording than studio one. The reason: it sound more exciting, bigger and just more "natural" than in the studio. My favorite records are all from live presentations. Not to say studio albums aren't great, they are, but I think that all the perfectionism that goes into tailoring songs in the studio might cut down a bit of the thrill from the music.

Love your videos, love you too!
But your short musical transitions get a bit repetitive. I'd stick to one in the intro and one in the finish.
