  • In this video we shall be diagnosing and fixing a 2015 Ford Transit Courier with multiple ABS related warning lights along with codes U0121, U0122, U0415. Initially the warning lights where intermittent but a stroke of luck made them permanent making the diagnosis somewhat easier in the long run. Non the less a logical path was taken towards the eventual fix.

    Hi mate. Ive missed seeing your videos! Can i ask what is the exact backprobe lead you have going into the abs connector at 7.12 mins in the video?? Id appreciate any reply as would be quite usefull for me to buy one. Sick of using thin multimeter connectors! Thanks SY

    Great and quick diag on this no comm issue..
    I see you guys also get those u0415 and u0415 code on you side of the hood.I believe ford has a ssm regarding those codes and if no issues are found to ignore i believe.
    Not a big fan of the vcmm scope either, but they did come out with the different color leads before pico did lol..
    als a quick question. you like ford scan bettern than ids? notice you use a lot

    • @SYDiagnostics
      @SYDiagnostics  Před 3 lety +1

      interesting about the ssm, have you a number? i find forscan quicker and something my viewers can obtain and relate to. IDS isnt available or used by everyone

    I think without us investing in the correct information software as to where block connections are situated in the harness the rest of us are dead in the water these days. 👍

      even with the info, the location was incorrect. But it did give me what it was i.e. 6 pin multiplug, so it was easier to locate. Thanks for watching

    Hi,
    I watched your video and changed Gear Shift Lever Gaiter & Bezel of my 2013 1.6 manual transmission C max. After installation, when I pulled up on the collar located below gear shift knob, it is not returning. What is the reason of this? I emailed as well.

      its getting increasingly difficult to film, hence the lack of content over the last few months. It may get to the point I have to give up.. Documenting faults on video for personal reference can't be used as an excuse much more when i'm caught...lol

    Today iv been baffled by a 2016 2.2. Custom. Pad warning lamp on. All brake pad sensors, connectors, testing found no faults. However when checking the rear axle multi plug..found no abs 5v refrerence to the nsr... live data of the abs showed no activity from the nsr.. and low and behold. Wire broke in the abs connector. But no abs light ...or fault on the road . Has the abs piggybacked the pad wire system and caused an open circuit in an " incorrect" system..
