Important Update! At 51:50, it says to copy the *.CFG file included with a table to your "Bam-OpenVR \ CFG" folder. This is wrong! You only copy the *.cfg files to "BAM \ CFG" folder! These files were meant only for desktop or cabinet modes, not VR! Copying a cfg file to "Bam-OpenVR \ CFG" WILL cause the table to NOT run in VR mode! Simply delete any CFG file you have installed into that folder, close FP, and rerun the table again for VR usage.
Just tried out BAM for the first time today after spending at least 100 hours without it and the difference in physics is pretty crazy, thank you for all of the work you put into this tutorial its making emulating pinball alot better for me!
My hero! Much appreciated for all the time you invest to keep the community motivated and trying to keep up, even if someone like me, doesn't have that technical background. This is extremely well explained and helping me to set up my cabinett from scratch. Cheers from the Netherlands!
I downloaded the zip a few days ago. And only at minute 40 of this video I paused it, followed your steps, copied those cfg to BAM and voila, it worked correctly. In Cabinet mode, Philips 42" TV and Samsung 2022 Backbox. GTX1650 + Ryzen 5 2400 with Vega 11. Only on some tables do I have to correct their location or size. Thank you, excellent task!
This eliminates that. One zip file. No installers (except for Visual C and DX if you dont have them installed). Install the FP folder, then install the BAM settings files for your setup. Use the FP video settings I show. Done. (no patching, etc)
Wow Terry, you go the extra mile, covering all setups. This is super streamlined now and huge plus that you're not monitoring so many sites, hopefully this pays off less stress for you.
Figures, just finished going through the Mega Guide and setting up Future Pinball on my desktop following the Mega-Guide and this guy goes and makes these videos. My timing sucks! LOL! Well, I am bound to have messed up somewhere, so here we go!! [Now just to figure out where/when/how to get those Legendary Edition tables from the ULTIMATE Pro Pinball channel, I’d be set]
I have followed this over and over and still cant get future pinball to work in the new pinup popper can you do an full update video with the new version of pinup?
Can anyone help me with configuring future pinball in pinup the vpx is ok but the future doesn't come out, the dmd, nor the topper, when the game loads It must be in the configuration when you add the table
FizX physics is something that needs to be added to each table. It's not something that just automatically works for all tables (same as nFozzy physics on VP).
Hi Terry, my pinevent tables are working most of the time. But sometimes they go through the fp loading screen then crash to desktop. I noticed that that in task manager the system has pinupdisplay.exe open and pinupdisplayX.exe open . If I then manually close pinupdisplayX.exe the pinevent table runs fine again. Any idea why this is happening please. Thanks Guy
The file is fine. It's a false positive. It's because MS is no longer getting paid for newer certificates each year, so it gets tagged by Defender, and then that gets passed on to Norton and other AV apps. It's common to need to add exceptions to AV apps for all virtual pinball related folders (VP, FP, PUP, etc) for this same reason. It's clean and fine. Used by 1000's of people no problem.
can anybody make my dream come true? just a hellraiser and nightmare on elm street pinball working machines on my vertical screen and ill be so happy for real

Thank you Terry. I generally avoid FP updates due to how many different files and folders must be messed with. Your tables are worth it.

Always appreciate your hard work, thank you Terry!

Getting error- path too long on some caninet files while unzipping
Hi my friend. Is this method useful for it to work in Batocera(v.37)?
See you! From Buenos Aires
Great video Terry! I am new to all this, so I have one question. Does this also update Fizx to 3.3? Thanks for all you do!

hi my game have 99 credits can you say me what can i do begin with just 1
getting error of dangerous file on download
Hi Terry, the BAM.dll file is recognized by Norton as "Trojan.GEN.MBT", why? So I can't play FP pinball machines anymore 😔Thanks

I have the newest pinup popper baller installed. Can I use the FP that came with it or should I use your zip file?
If you want all updated files and updated guides, then just install my newest Essentials AIO.
is has the visuals and light, but no balls, no sound, no controls execept nudging. Is there a fix for this?
Could you fix that?
