  • We all have dreams. When you go to school, pursue higher education and get the right skills for your dream job, you'd expect that things will fall more easily into place, right? That's what Christine thought as well. Life had other ideas. It threw her curveball after crushing curveball as she chased her dream career and later in entrepreneurship. Still she persisted. Even though it didn't easily fall into place, it eventually did. #Engage31 #Curveballs #EngageKe

I'm aware that this will get lost in the comments but to anyone reading this you are not stuck! You can change the situation. No Matter how bad you think you have it, people have it worse

It's actually true, people look at receptionists and PAs in a bad way.
I have a bachelors degree in hotel management and am a front office supervisor with experience but that will never change how some clients look at me,they'll tell you stuff and ask if you know what they are talking about or simply tell you that you wouldn't understand anyway and it hurts.
Am glad you got your wings girl.Looking foward to the same for me and for others in the same circumstance.

Anyone reading this don't give up... One of siblings never went to campus but his love for art got him in ogilvy... Before that he had worked in grogon river road... Hard job.. But today I look at him I know there is a GOD.. next to believing in God he is a hard worker and a go getter... Guess God loves that... So be encouraged your dreams are VALID

The problem is education has made us closed minded to think that what you studied is what you must pursue yet the informal sector has endless opportunities for anybody who stands their ground regardless of what anyone thinks.

Education is just meant to enlighten us but it shouldn't be a limitation for us to seek opportunities in areas that we don't have a background in, whether it's the informal or formal sector.

Nikha Matime, you get a title based on what you do. Personal Assistants are important, even crucial, to so many people. So if they aren’t important to you then great for you! Dimming someone’s light doesn’t make yours shine brighter.
