I remember very well, when this was broadcast on MTV in summer 1991. I absolutley loved "In Bed with Madonna" and I watched it on VHS countless times. I miss you, Madonna.
When Madonna released the Truth or Dare documentary capturing the behind-the-scenes look of the Blond Ambition Tour, she was still in the first leg of her brilliant career
One of the best Madonna interviews ever! You had to be there to believe the level of fame and publicity that Madonna had. The brightest star the world had ever seen...
First Madonna interview I’ve ever seen!! With the Madonna special they (MTV) had for the release of the official video for TUTBMP (when I became a fan) 💖💖
shes really the real deal. smart, beautiful and in touch with her own celebrity. she can be arrogant but shes in control of the power that she has because her mind is always working. always a great interviewee.
I have a ton of respect for Madonna and I like her but with anybody, without having money, fame or status, no one is really powerful, it's who you are and what you have give you the status, it's not because the person is powerful
Have you even seen her lately? This was like 20 years ago. I believe the pain pills from plastic surgery have affected her. Or Xanax or something. Makes people act very different. Dont get me started on her turning herself into a clay bobble-head
Out of all the interviews since 1983 this is the first time I hear her mention her brother Christopher's name but who knew that 25 years later writing a 'tell all' book about her - i have to say this is a better inteview compared to other journalists some journalists asked her terrible questions.
I want to know what happens next after she said 'someone is making so much fucking noise' i won't be suprised if there is a distraction there. Some started talking loudly which pissed the queen off
32:02 Which specific part is he talking about? He says there’s a “very clear moment when you lip sync in the show.” Or something along those lines. Which specific performance is he talking about?
I´m not sure, but I think it´s when she lip synced to Now I´m Following You during the Blond Ambition tour. In the show she even said she was going to lip sync to it, so it´s very obvious.
She's known as Louise by her family (her middle name) she has her own opinion on what is too much and is now less racey than when she was younger. She is all woman and is an easy to listen to interviewee. Nobody will ever know her .she is a mother now and I I'm sure that her children come 1st. Her kids don't have smartphones and they don't have a tv in the house I read. Her kids are getting an idyllic lifestyle I think.
This is basically a reply to someone's comment on here. I love Madonna and have a ton of respect for the queen of pop. But, it's someone's money, fame and status that makes them powerful, they haven't got that inate power naturally.
Madonna always seemed so very comfortable with Kurt Loder. I love their interactions.
She's the perfect woman. Strong feminine and intelligent. Like a goddess.
and talented and pretty
I'd never heard her talk about the Milli Vanilli debacle. Good for her, for standing up for them. A rare situation back in the day.

I really, really miss this Madonna. I remain a faithful fan but she was everything back in these days.
What a self aware woman! Brave, curious and just a good company
I saw this first-hand black and white on MTV!
Shes so beautiful here
She s authentic, knows her soul. That s what makes her so special.
Madonna predicting reality tv.
thank you for this channel! i love watching madonna talk. she's so intelligent and such a pioneer for modern society
So intelligent and able to converse better than most people. Love how the interview ended. Haha

She was untouchable at this time. A star that shone brighter than anyone else. It was incredible to take in.

Really first interview? How come? Do you live in planet Earth? Lol
This is the Madonna I fell in love with. and her knowledge of the gay community and her activism for us blew me away at a young age.
Everyone in that scene was that way she just got famous. The unsung hero's the drag queens dont get enough credit is all Im saying
She’s lovely here she seems happy ❤
She's so ahead of her time. Or rather she formed our time....
Enjoyed this interview. The ending was the cherry on top :)
The ending is HYSTERICAL.
The way the interview ends though 😨😂
41:28 the best part

I love how many times she says “u know” what a babe
I love this
38:40 and she does direct, in the movie W.E., 2011
Was this filmed around the time of her date with Michael Jackson at the Oscars? She has that similar Marilyn Monroe hair and look. ❤️
Yeah, did you watch the interview?
Kurt Loder is interviewer
🌷
💐👏👑🎶🇵🇪
Not to sound greedy, but is there anymore footage from this interview or is this everything? Just wondering...
this is the only footage
19:30 the subject of "borrowing" ideas from other artist
30:21 that's true. The most brilliant artists are crippled inside.
Louise

@@asthemoonturns Ohhh I completely forgot about Now I’m Following You! That’s probably what he meant. Thanks for clarifying!

👏MADONNA at the very end of the interview: “Someone is making so much fucking noise over there!” Beeeeeep! 😆😂👏She had every right to be pissed off.😤
19:17
depeche mode did it 2 years b4
“Fragile human being .. “ it’s said Madonna despised weakness of any kind
I wonder whoever was making all the noise got fired? 🤣
