OMG! You have made just what I was looking for. I have a small evening bag and the strap has gone south on me. Wanted to do something quick snd simple and super strong!! Now I will make me a new strap. Will try with the strap from the purse and give it a try. Will need to figure out how many beads I will need, but I’m going to make it 2 colors so. Thanks for the video. Not subscribed yet, but may do it very soon.
You are great!!
This is awesome!
Thank you!
Can you see this?
Thank you soooo much
Turquoise - it's my birthstone :) ... The tutorial was good. I have kumihimo and it never occurred to me to do a necklace your quick and much easier way... Also, I subscribed to your channel. 😁
Thanks so much!
actually, like them both !
Me too!
wow! so clever and so beautifull!!! :o)
Thank you!
I love both but I think I may do a pinks one for my mom, her favorite color. Thanks for the tip, I have arthritis and it's difficult to spend hours doing my crafts.
Thank you!
Thanks for watching!
Love ❤❤❤
Hi Abbi - great idea and excellent instruction. I love the Kumihimo bracelets, but never in a million years could I do it. I'm old and have a short attention span. Tee Hee, now I can have a beautiful necklace, and only spend an hour (I'm also slow). Thanks again and look forward to more of your videos. Love PegEgg
Ha! Thank you so much! I'm glad you like it!
I like them both. But turquoise is my favorite. I need to come visit your store. I live in St. Louis😃
Oh neat! Definitely come and see us!
I like the turquoise necklace. I would like to make it in cobalt blue with bright white at both ends. Thank you for great video.
That would be gorgeous! Thanks so much!
Nice!
Thanks!
I like them both. Would like to see one made with Iris beads. 💖🌷💍💎
Oooh that would be pretty. Send me a picture when you make one. :)
יפה מאוד אהבתי
Turquoise💖
Good choice!
Love this look, need to find cord with sterling findings , or I can just make them..........Thank you!
Really 4Gmethod great
Great tutorial! Thank you. How thick is the leather cord that you used?
Thank you! My cords are 3 and 4mm.
Turquoise!!!
Good answer!
Just found this video and love the idea. Could this be done in 22g wire or is 26g the best?
I love this! I can crochet but I can't seem to do this look from crochet! Could this be made as a bracelet too? Thanks!
Thank you! Yes! I have a video linked above for a bracelet tutorial.
Thanks@
I like the metal version. What was it wrapped on?😎🤗
It’s wrapped on a pre-made braided faux leather necklace cord! They’re adjustable necklaces that are usually used to just hang a pendant but we like to get creative with them and cover them up! They’re 16” of 3-4mm cording and the clasp and chain make them adjustable anywhere from 17”-19”.
Okay. I tried to make thi but it was a disaster. The wire broke while I was wrapping it around n my leather cord and I had beads everywhere. Then since I had only gotten about 5 rows by then I gave it another try and got down about four more rows and BAM it broke again sending a trillion little beads flying off on my carpet. My two rotties watched as I scrambled to get them all up before they could get to them. It was a comedy scene. I may try it again using flexible beading wire but I have to think about that. It was fun anyway so thanks for the laughs 🤣😂.
Hi what do you call the type of necklace to put beads around with clasp on so I know what to order please I love this idea I've got loads of mixed beads to use thanks
Hi there! It’s just called a faux leather braided cord necklace.
Turquoise would be my choice if I was forced to choose one! Lol:-)
Good pick!
Can you incorporate other types of beads as you wrap to make a necklace that matches earrings, or would it be better to add other beads by wiring them to the foundation cord between the coils, please?
like both but want a purple one ty
Good choice!
Hi Abby. I have been looking for size 8.0 seed beads royal purple. I saw what looked like purple beads on the wall behind you. Do you have a web page that I can order from?
Curious how much would you need if using size 11 seed beads?
Can you use a velvet cord as a foundation as effectively as a leather cord, please?
Sure! As long as it is round, it should work!
Would love to try this with hematite or pyrite beads.
How long does it take to string 96 inches of beads?
i may have missed it in the comments or questions but I have 1 oz (a little more than 28g) of seed beads and didn't get nearly 96 inches. I think I have 40 something inches
How many meters of beads we need?
How thick is the wire please
Hello, what gauge # is the wire?
26 ga
