I'm guessing the music is a reference to Ibirdball's Philippine Airlines 744 FH? XD
Great vid as usual! Only 4 of Philippine Airlines' 747-200s were acquired in brand new condition. The others were leased from various sources, with the most notable ones being the 3 ex-SAS planes (which made up half of the total 742s bought by SAS).
and ScaringCrab's Korean Air A330 Fleet History and His Phillipine Airlines DC 10 Fleet History. Both of the links: czcams.com/video/42yynIztEIE/video.html czcams.com/video/KiAWCRJ7VOo/video.html Ending song:czcams.com/video/6DS4pJ1nidA/video.html czcams.com/video/UHoNRCbqQnY/video.html
I guess that makes sense since even though PAL was an asian airline, they probably didn't make enough profit to acquire new 747's, therefore they wanted to lease because it probably saved them a bit more money instead of wasting it on a brand new plane.
Yeah, lol. The song just kinda fitted it really XD
Fun fact: Philippine Airlines' livery is about 40 years old and the last livery change was in 1986 which was the current-state of the art livery this 2024.
Fun fact 2: The last A340-300 was RP-C3434 or maybe :/, it was acording to PAL or smth in 2019.
maybe you can find it or search it idk whats its title :/
Fun fact 3: There were Dash 8 Q300s in 2008 which were part of the subsidary airline called PAL express. These aircraft had then retired acording to another youtuber in some of the years in 2010 to 2019.These were then replaced by the Dash 8 Q400s.
Fun fact 4: This is a bit similar to "Fun fact 3", which PAL express was founded in 2008.
(part of the A320s and A321s and A321neos').
Oh yes this song.... It used to be a bomb for fleet history
What about their a330-301s? They operated them from 1997-2013
Very nice video
Good job

Very good video, subscribed. I also made a video of this. The info here is better though
I really like the song! What's the name of it?
Handbook - Monsoons
*still wondering when will they change their livery cuz they had their current one for 35 freaking years*
they obviously like it
*boring livery of all time*, but exept for tail tho
I like the old livery
the tail looks great but the font is small and generic looking
What happend to the dc 8?
Why does it have an klm livery?
Philippine Airlines ceased operations on the Airbus A340 - 300 in 2019

Philippine Airlines I'm begging you… BRING BACK THE BOEING 747 😭
Why not the freighter
Most missed of all : Boeing 747
Agreed
Yeah, I was wondering why the plane I usually rode as a child became smaller. I used to be afraid of riding smaller planes so I usually opted for PAL coz of their Boeing 747.
@@jameserold3055 really? nice.
What IS an Airvus?
