Looking at miami doing what they doing with undrafted players is amazing. A stable culture, stable front office and solid coaching/development will usually have a player playing very well. Teams like orlando and Charlotte need to take notes.
Ur right they can’t even properly develop their lottery draftees…teams like them ruin the careers of so many young guys with high potential…they’re a joke (lamelo, paolo, franz, kemba, vooch, and miles are the only exceptions over the last 10-12 years)
@@NeLinGytis Kemba ???
@@sulwhale3171bro was hella good before injuries
Ha, those brats led by Lamelo that play 0 defense are going nowhere in this league.
Actually all of the 29 teams in the NBA should take note on this one
What the heat have been able to do with their undrafted guys is incredible. Strus, Martin, Vincent they’ve all stepped up in a big way for Miami during this run.
You should have given Omer Yurtseven his props for his production last year. When the Heat's lineup was severely depleted last year, Yurt absolutely balled out! I think he scored a double double for 11 straight games which was absolutely insane for an undrafted player.
Battle of the Underdogs is really the dialogue around the finals. nuggets despite being talented, were overshadowed by the superstars and drama in the western conference. Heats organization put value in hard work, not natural talent. What both of these teams accomplished so far is amazing. This is the first time I want both teams to win.
With these series and the new CBA, I hope that the climate of the NBA changes to focus more on the teams than the players.
You did mentioned the Heat being the Spurs of the East and credit to them developing undiscovered talents and turning them into NBA-caliber players from Duncan Robinson to Gabe Vincent to Max Strus and Caleb Martin. It actually started with UD.
That’s a stretch. UD was a stud at Florida and has been a heat mainstay
@@bearclawsrockbut he went undrafted

Big Yurt got a good amount of minutes last year when Miami were #1 in the east, this is when Bam was injured. He showed a lot of promise, his rebounding in particular was outstounding. I think he would have been a key part of the rotation this season if he didn't get hurt. Him being hurt is the reason why we ended up signing Zeller and why Spo trusts him over Yurt right now.
He has that Whiteside vibe on him. Defensive proficiency.
It’s a testament to the heat culture and organization that anyone can step into the team and giving them big roles that’s why Miami is so beloved and free agents should wanna go there too
Pat riley didnt just like haslems attitude. Haslem was always a high energy hustle player, he was big in the 06 championship
I thought it would be impossible to advance to the NBA Finals this season, but the Miami Heat who are winning in the playoffs are too amazing.
God bless andy. Im one of your fan from PHILIPPINES 🇵🇭
Greetings from Poland, kuya
Character is difficult to measure…. And it’s hard to tell how a young prospect will actually pan out as a result. It’s similar with other lines of work as well. So many people with talent flame out because they lack these intangibles.
I will never understand why Zeller gets minutes over Yurt. Zeller is a walking foul and turnover waiting to happen
Max Strus is my favorite undrafted player on the team rn. I think he still has potential to improve his overall game and become like what Kevin Huerter does on the Kings. He just needs to be more consistent in shooting the 3 ball.
Strus is better defender tho. But as offense I see what you mean.
@@henrimarjoan7876 I agree, bro. 💯 Strus' defensive awareness is better than Kevin's and as Andy Hoops said in his video, the former isn't afraid of guarding bigger opponents despite only being 6'5".
Favorite basketball channel!
I'm a Celtic fan and I love Jimmy, but I still feel like Martin deserved that conference finals MVP. Man was consistent throughout the whole series, even on the games they lost, had double-doubles and played good defense. He def improved from his time in Charlotte.
Omer Yurtseven as a starter (12 games), per 36 minutes: 14.9 PTS, 15.6 REB, 3.1 AST, 52.8 TS% (50/20/62). Not the best shooting stats and
I am a new subscriber and I really like all your contents especially how you breakdown players. Can I make a request? Can you make a player breakdown for Kai Sotto? Too many content creators are using him as content but lacks quality. I really want an honest breakdown on him. Just a warning expect his countryman to blowup the views of that upload. Thank you.
I'm kinda disappointed that you failed to mention that Yurtseven had a good run when the Heat dealt with a lot of injuries. He averaged a double double and they were winning. After Bam came back, he also went back to sitting though 😅
Yessir! We going all the way this year and people try to clown Haslem but us down here in South Florida knows how important he is
Can't believe Martin was robbed off the player of the ECF trophy. Jimmy averaged 25 points on a horrible 51% ts (league average is 57.8% btw) and Martin averaged 19 points on a godly 74% ts
The Miami Heat have a top 3 player development program in all of pro sports within the last 20 years
Absolutely this is wild that they’re even un drafted and playing this well , but it goes to show u that even a team like Miami , they don’t even need to rely on superstar talent for them to win
And it’s clearly showing cause they’re in the finals ..
Andy drop some bomb 🔥🔥 andy hoppers from Philippines 🔥
All this new content created on CZcams for the Miami heat is great 🤣 I swear it was hard finding/watching heat content without the channel being heat fans
Yeah no kidding, especially with how the media hates Miami for some reason lol. But because we are in the playoffs/Finals they have no choice but to cover the Heat. You gotta love it😂😂
The video we needed
Woots the epic music!
Andy! Who your all time starting 5?! I’ll be amazed if you have Ron Artest!
I’m so happy seeing Gabe Vincent winning I’m remember watching his school mixtape during the yarareafinest era for basketball on CZcams
Miami have great scouting personal and they use analysis data to find undrafted players
Miami should start Yurtseven for the upcoming games
Sad thing is, this'll break. We have seen it with Nunn before. They fit the mold but when the offseason and FA starts Spo and co will have another roster build probably with undrafteds or low pick players.
Clearly the heat are good at finding unnoticed talent
First! Hi Andy Hoops! Keep up the good work, and have a great day ahead of you!
Vincent was the guy who led Nigerian national basketball team in a win against Team USA back in 2021. He scored 21 points being guarded by Beal and Lillard.
Strus' NBA debut was against... Miami Heat led by Jimmy.
Meanwhile Yurtseven while was 17 scored 91 points and grabbed 28 rebounds in Turkish youth league game.
Lets gooo heat
Vincent making a name for ucsb, they're about to be a crazy good team this next season just watch
Most of these guys are free agents this summer and will be looking for some type of bag, hopefully the Heat can re-sign them all
Only Gabe and strus are free agent, ohh omer too. But Gabe and strus gonna get a bag Miami might not be able to re sign both unless they trade someone
yurt is already good...he stepped in last season for like a 15 game stretch and avged 10 rpg
This team most definitely reminds me of the 03 Detroit pistons lowkey💯 jimmy butler the only superstar player other players are decent role players that can step up times when needed and a big underdog team💯
Miami is a definition of a well-runed organization
Just like the Spurs
Maybe add college/highschool for some of them to let us know where did they actually came from
something sorta off topic with this video is all the clips from games 1 and 2 of the finals, if you didnt know any better you wouldnt be able to tell that's the Finals, wish they put up more stuff on the court (like the 08 and 09 finals)
Gabe finna get 6-8 mill from some contender this off season , happy for him.
Gabe Vincent, Max Strus, Duncan Robinson & Caleb Martin WORST performance in FINALS 😅😂😅😂😅
Still waiting for videos about the pre-LeBron Cavs, the new CBA and what's next for the teams that have been eliminated from the 2023 Playoffs.
It would be amazing if the Heat wins it all this year and with this many undrafted players. Many people doubted this team because of that. Their regular season was frustrating but I love that each playoff game they played so far, they played it like it’s their last.
First banner for Denver if they won, for the Heat an 7/8th seed winning a championship with 7 undrafted players. Either way it's history
The Pat Riley and Erik Spoelstra Miami Heat is the basketball equivalent of the Sir Alex Ferguson Manchester United.
Or mourhnio’s Porto
Idk how the heat always find these gems. Same with the Spurs and Raptors. It’s like they can see the future.
Jaylen Brown your next video Andy Hoops 🙏🙏🙏
Heat fan since 2011 Finals (yikes), and I still don't get why Spo doesn't use Yurt. He's skilled and tall, two things that we are severely lacking. Maybe it's because of his defense or lack of aggressiveness, but man...
Undrafted players sometimes much better than the drafted players...miami heat organization show it,always trust the culture and your players..Pat Riley mindset.🔥🔥❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏
As a Laker fan, I suddenly imagine what if the Heat signed Austin Reaves in 2021 instead of the Lakers ( he was undrafted too), perhaps his impact with the Lakers today would also make a difference with Miami and perhaps a good back up for Tyler Herro if that happened.
Miami needs to find some playing time for Omer Yurt, guys a 6'11 265 lbs and can put a body on Jokic cuz Jokic out there rebounding over 6'8 Bam n 6'5 Caleb Martin
Heat undrafted players > 21 and 22 lottery picks
I remember Reggie Miller several times mentioned "Gabe Vincent the undrafted player"
no tanking needed
Gabe Vincent 805’s finest 👑
these guys forsure sold their soul, now theyre playing god-like
Orlando Robinson and Jamal Cain undrafted as well.
I love the Heat and this current roster, but let's temp our expectations whether for this finals, but especially next year. Whether they win it all or not, this is a great accomplishment but we also have to be wary. People tend to overhype players, remember the Poole boy? He may have a bounce back season next year or maybe he flames out, eitherway he really played horribly this season. Another one is Jeremy Lin. After Linsanity he was overhyped, but once teams got more reports on him, he slid back down to reality.
These guys putting up insane numbers for undrafted guys is an amazing feat, but there's a possibility that this is a one and done. Once teams gets reports on these guys next season and closely observing this playoffs especially the finals, these guys may flame out.
Who knows, they do seem to be gritty guys and with the culture, I'm sure they can continue, but they may not. Remember what happened to Duncan Robinson just recently? He lost his spot after doing great in the bubble because teams figured out how to handle him and it was difficult for Spo to run plays for him, but he bounced back this playoffs and we're seeing him in a regular rotation again. So maybe next season these guys may still play well, but again, temping expectations so people won't be surprised if we see another Jordan Poole
I wouldn’t be saying “coming out party” in todays age that has different context😭😭
Its like the money ball of the NBA
Yurtseven over zeller
For real
If this team is excellent in developing players draft Kai Sotto instead a 7'2 with a decent outside shooting and high basketball IQ
Heat coaching staff deserve a raise lol
Haywood high smith went to college in my hometown of wheeling. Wheeling Jesuit university at the time he was there, now it is jus wheeling university.
Phoenix better be taking notes instead of chasing big signings that do nothing to benefit the team
heat is the most exciting and likeable team right now
sounds like Heat took Rona and made it their Training Camp!
As they say I'm real estate is all about location location location. Most of these guys would have been out of the league if they were on different teams
I wish miami picked up yuta watanabe
Miami Heat culture makes the difference.
proof that pros are pros period. a heat ring would be great for the NBA
Soon we gonna have the NBA Finals with a full roster of undrafted players all 15🤣
Doesn’t matter if they’re I drafted or not!!! You can ball and you’re on the court!!!
They're like the Spurs in the 00s-10s
If the heats wins the chip.
LeESPN: superstar team
Jimmy buckets : naaaaw
I put a 4gs on the jeep
If this was Anime, they have the recipe to be the protagonists 😂
We will win! Heat culture! Himmy butler!!!
can't believe Duncan Robinson is undrafted... i mean i will get him before Jordan Poole if i were the gsw . i mean klay 2.0
You forgot about Orlando Robinson they have 8
If I counted the amount of times the media has mentioned then to be undrafted I’d be a millionaire.
I thought before GSW is the best organization but in reality all their drafts were first round. Only D Green is the real find. Miami IS the real best organization. They developed undrafted players and they dont even have an all star this year. GSW budget is over the top where Heat can easily be the team that went into finals with measly budget.
My God the media creates Narratives from thin air. Stop hating on the better team Denver, that has been in the conversation for years.
Ben Simmons should go to Miami and embrace the culture. That's the only way he could save his dying career.
These undrafted guys never had an opponent like Jokic tho
Real ones know gave vincent from him beating team USA with team nigeria
Miami is the spurs of the east
So if the heat win, the other 2 undrafted players...yes there are really 9 of them..they don't get a ring?
Heat are Good I’m still taking the Nuggets in 6
12k 3h 495k subs
Spo like Billy B!!! Getting talent from everywhere!!! He doesn’t discriminate!!
This is why kai sotto will never made it to the nba he doesnt have a dog in him unlike this team.
this shows that lebron should have never went to LA & gone back to miami
W vid
If Philly is the process
Then Miami heat is the results more success than Philly. The heat haven’t had a number 1 pick unlike Philly
The Heat have a chance to win the chip this season
Pat Riley = LAKER.
Do a video about that and teach some of these _______ a new lesson. He was laker head coach when I started watching.
In Miami situation now, no one cares where they came from.
